When we walked into the lobby to check-in the lady at the front desk had an attitude. She was curt, like we were troubling her. We asked for a room with a King size bed. She said to at check-out the following day. We did and she told us that none were available. The hotel was less crowded that night than the night we arrived. We don't think she checked at all. The over-night staff and housekeeping were very nice and accommodating. The room was clean. But our 1st impression was highly disappointing.

Remodel was like putting lipstick on a pig! Door frame had been jacked MANY TIMES, chair by bed looks like Sanford & Sons delivered it 10 years ago, had the feel of a crack house, Lyft drivers didn’t want to pickup or drop off!

Place is dirty, poorly lit and in need of many repairs. Front desk staff were rude at check-in as we waited two minutes for them to complete their personal conversation before helping us. I travel a lot and don't expect much and stay at lower end places often. But this experience has precluded Super 8 from my list of acceptable places to stay forever!!

Looking from the outside, property appears to be very run down. Rooms are clean, and bed was good to sleep in for a quick night. Nothing to write home about, over, decent.

I left my Sony Bluetooth, noise canceling headphones and my apple headphones on the desk table after i checked out. I called for the next two days trying to arrange a pick up. Over the next two days, and many calls to arrange for pick up, NO CALL BACK- EVER, from three staff members on day and evening shifts. the final phone operator telling me, they were not found, or she thinks they were moved, or she'll will ask housekeeping again. when i questioned her about how difficult could it be be housekeeping to find sitting on the desk, her new answer was " maybe there are new people in the room and they took them." but didn't housekeeping clean the room? she wouldn't answer that question. "I'll ask around" it was clear, they were taken by staff and more than one staff member knew about it. it was clear, no call backs as they "checked" with housekeeping for them. I told her I would call management, she said go ahead. it really sucks that my headphones were so blatantly taken, and the staff covered for the staff.

Old, beat up, dirty, in desperate need of repairs

Pros: Some staff
Cons: Everything about the building and furnishings
Location: Bad part of town, lots of transients
The only good thing about the hotel was the staff, this place should destroyed and put out of it's misery. The owner hasn't invested a penny in needed repairs, carpets were terrible, bathroom door didn't shut, breakfast was cheap and unpalatable, beds uncomfortable. etc etc etc
