Welcome to Casa Cazadora del Mar (home of the Sea Huntress), located at the one of a kind Residencias Reef. This resort is a gated community with 24/7 security. It is located on the famous San Francisco Beach, with a shared pier which allows access to the sea. Scuba, deep sea fishing, and other boat excursions pickup there daily.

Our condo has everything you would ever need for a wonderful, just-like-at-home stay. Our top (3rd) floor patio balcony, with your own bubble tub, loungers, café table and chairs, a gas bar-b-que for cooking the catch of the day. The condo overlooks the impeccably manicured grounds and beach, where you will experience breathtaking sunsets. Our view to the west is as good as it gets in Residencias Reef.

There are many things to do on the island including walking along the beach, visiting the beach clubs and restaurants for amazing food, live entertainment and meeting new people. You can also try parasailing, kayaking, jet skiing, deep sea fishing, shopping in town and so much more.

Isla de Cozumel is a diver's paradise, consistently regarded as one of the top 5 diving sites in the world, consistent 100-150 feet+ visibility and effortless drift diving. The water temperature range between 80 and 84 degrees Fahrenheit. There is incredible snorkeling at our private beach and all over the island. This vacation is a water lover’s paradise.

Residencias Reef has two fabulous, pools with large decks and palapas to enjoy until 10pm each night. There is also the exclusive, quiet, rooftop patio stretching the entire length of our building, providing the same great view as our unit. The rooftop patio offers showers, bathrooms, and a palapa with refrigerator, small wet bar, and lounge chairs to enjoy a relaxing, sunny afternoon of reading or just watching the clouds go by.

Casa Cazadora del Mar is a 12-minute drive into town (San Miguel de Cozumel), has many shops, boutiques, the town square, Cuban cigars, and wonderful restaurants. The grocery store and seafood market are located intown.

Enjoy the islands restaurants, order in local fare to the unit, prepare your own meals in our full kitchen, or you can take advantage of a private chef, that will prepare authentic Mayan fare right in the condo. For an additional fee, we can even have your groceries waiting for you. We also have a regularly updated “Our Favorites” book in the condo that can help you choose great local restaurants during your stay.

Our housekeeper Rosie will be at your service to make the condo tidy daily during your stay. She has a key and will make her arrival known to you before entering.

Our property manager Mario will make sure that everything is attended to for your stay. He can help you book tours, give you extra recommendations.

The condo was a 10 out of 10! Very nice and the bed was very comfortable. Loved our view from the balcony. All we really needed to bring was a few cloths. We had 1 of the 2 pools to ourselves everyday we were there. The beach is beautiful a quite. Kudos to the guy's at the front gate on helping us find a great deal on a car rental.

This was such a great find. Wonderful location right on the beach and close to everything. Beautiful condo with everything we needed and more with wonderful patio overlooking the beautiful grounds, pool and ocean. Housekeeper Roxy was super nice and helpful and an amazing chef! Mandee was very accommodating and helpful and all of the staff at Residentias Reef were so warm and welcoming. Had an amazing time exploring the island and the beautiful water and reef around it. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return again!!

This place is awesome!

My wife and I stayed from January 16th to March 13th, 2024. The unit was amazingly comfortable for our extended stay. Everything and I mean everything that we needed was in the condo. The view from living room and the patio of the pool and ocean is something we will deeply miss. The entire complex is equally impressive with a grounds crew that were relentless on making the place look great. They kept the entire complex, grounds and beach in tip top shape and were out working when the sun came up. I wish I could hire them here at home. Rosie and Mario were nothing short of amazing. We rarely needed anything from Mario as the condo is in great shape. Rosie and has an amazing smile and beautiful spirit and does a wonderful job cleaning the place. Because of our long term stay we did watch some TV and the selection of available American TV stations are way better than we have with our cable package back home. We walked a ton and the beach is walkable for miles not to mention the frontage road in front of the complex that has limited motorized traffic. We even walked from the Condo to the Cruise ship port one day! The security is also amazing with gated access and guards that are diligent and kind. We never worried or felt unsafe about our security on or off the complex. The rooftop is a great bonus! I used it every morning to read and reflect and I was the only one up there. Book this place, you wont be disappointed! PS: The living room is larger than the picture depicts.

Comfortable with a great view

This is our second stay at this property. The weather was cooler than it has been in the past so we spent more time in the condo and it is just so relaxing! Super comfy bed and couch. The views from this condo are awesome. It was very clean and Roxy was nice enough to work around our schedule on the days she came to clean. Very highly recorded!

Lovely Place

We booked this place at the last minute after our plans for Roatan fell through. We were so fortunate to get this great place. The owner was so friendly and helpful! Roxy her housekeeper had prepared pico de gallo and guacamole for us. Also bananas and beer in the fridge. We hired Roxy to prepare us a wonderful homemade dinner our last night. It was wonderful and very reasonably priced. This place has a great view as it is on the 3rd floor. One thing folks should note however, there is no elevator. Residencia Reef is a beautiful and well maintained property! The pools and beach are both immaculate. It is a very quiet and secluded place away from the cruise shippers. A car is very useful as taxis can get expensive. This was our 3rd time to stay at Residencia Reef and it continues to be a fantastic place! We will definitely stay here again if it is available.

Absolutely beautiful property and views. Tanya and her staff were amazing and helped us coordinate everything before we even arrived. Mario with his "at your service" hospitality was perfect. Disappointed

Upon booking the place, my wife and I were excited to hear about the private chef, Roxy; pools, beach front property, and transportation. We felt like we were sold the total package for our honeymoon! However, things started taking a turn. Communication with Lázaro and Mario were rocky. I would have initiated contact with WhatsApp had I known this was the best way to reach them, but I kept texting them without being told messages weren’t going through or incomplete or take a while to receive. Additionally, Lázaro could not pick us up where taxis go, so we never used him. We were also excited about the overhead shower and outdoor tub. Turns out that the hot water lasts for about 3 minutes and you need to wait an hour for the water heater to fill back up. The tub was unusable. After explaining the situation, there was no indication from Tanya that this was unusual, but Mario thought differently when we finally heard from him. we heard nothing about this getting fixed. We expected higher standards since it was our honeymoon and we were ultimately disappointed.

This was my second visit to Residencias Reef. It's the most beautiful property. The condo had a great balcony view. Mario, the property manager is very nice. His wife prepared a meal for me, Veracruz fish with beans, rice,chips, quac, and salsa. I ate all the quac and beans, so yummy.

The condo was the perfect place to stay for my first trip to the island! Tanya was excellent and quick to communicate and help set me up with her property manager, housekeeper, and taxi driver. Mario, Roxy, and Lazaro are the kindest people and are there for whatever you need. You must have Roxy cook for you at least once, she's amazing and the food was delicious. It was a truly the most relaxing trip since everything I needed was provided either in the condo or upon request. Grocery delivery was a major bonus, and I didn't need a car since Lazaro would take me wherever I needed to go. The added touches to the condo like the fresh pico, guacamole, and chips upon arrival were a nice touch to make me feel welcome. It was clean, quiet, safe, and just beautiful all around. The pools and beach are immaculate. I'll definitely be staying here again as soon as possible!
