The carpet was filthy, shower curtain torn, the curtains wouldn't close, some red stain on the bedspread in two places (blood?), the elevator was broken, the advertised gym had 2 pieces of equipment, one broken, the other outright dangerously broken. The hallway has holes in it that have been carpeted over. A woman in heels could easily turn an ankle. The receptionist told me he doesn't clean the rooms so it wasn't his responsibility when I told him the room was dirty. No discount for terrible conditions, no new room, just an offer to refund our money and send us on our way after 10 hours on the road, no elevator to carry our things down, no other place to stay on a dark and rainy night. We've stayed at many Hampton Inns and this is NOT what we've encountered or would expect. We have never stayed at such an abysmal place before. I would expect these conditions at a "pay by the hour" place. We would have been repeat customers since this is a halfway point for a frequent journey, but we will avoid it like the plague...which we were afraid we would pick up. How can they expect confidence in Covid times when the dirt and stains are visible?

Got there early bc they said we could check in early then to be told no, then was informed we were ok if we didn’t check in till later in the evening our room was still ours, then when we arrived in the evening the gentleman said sorry were full I said no I reserved room in December and was told this morning it was ok to come back after our events we had in the day, so then gentleman said he would get us a room but that meant telling someone else they couldn’t have the room that they may have thought they were getting, yes we got the room but the correct thing to have done was to not over book. Had few issues with tv but that was resolved when found the cable box was not plugged in all the way, u have to unplug something in order to plug coffee pot in. I just feel they could do better job in not over booking

I want my money back you took i never even checked in do to the lie of payment when i get there i drove all the way doen from detroit just to be denied like that really messed up my vacation

The property was not clean. There was trash in corners and when we looked under the bed to be sure we weren't leaving anything... more trash!! The amenities were not great. The fitness room was a joke! They could at least make sure the rooms are impeccably clean!!! The breakfast was good, though.
