STAT CLEAR AT ALL COSTS! Book elsewhere!
Driving through the neighborhood was the first alarming thing to us; run down buildings, vacant properties, men loitering on the corners.. you name it. When we got to rental property Friday late evening, the code they sent did not work. I called them and was informed a new code will be generated and sent over. “Host” said oh it’ll get sent to you. We were waiting for it! And nothing.. I called and asked that it be read to me. So anyways we got into the apartment. Locked the doors behind us. The apartment looked NOTHING liked the pics. The pics showed bright decor and new kitchen… The place was not bright.. and the kitchen was dirty with used items in the cabinets. The door upon entering apartment had no lock, someone could’ve entered without us knowing given that the rooms are towards the back of apartment… I immediately contacted the app, “Vrbo” and we were on the phone and on hold for a total of about 2 hrs!! The rep said “my supervisor will callback.” No one called. I took ALOT of pics for evidence, because we wouldn’t even be able to get back into property if we wanted to, cuz we don’t have the new code that was provided to us!I spent majority of what was supposed to be a “relaxing” vacation on the phone with Vrbo customer service fighting to get a refund.. And they will continue to hear from me until I do.
