Enjoyed staying in downtown Chicago for the first time, the hotel was ok, nothing special. They held our bags for us which was nice. Breakfast was not great, but then again not many buffet breakfasts in the US are.

The room was nice. Some knobs were missing off the many cabinets/dressers in the room, not an issue. I don't know how full the hotel was considering the 21 floors, but I didn't hear any one moving or talking while we were in our room. The bathroom was pretty outdated in terms of the lighting. Seriously excellent hot water, it got really hot almost immediately, and never had an issue of it getting cooler. The front desk staff were really nice and acknowledged the guests. (Which to be honest, so many hotels the staff just ignore you for several minutes, even if they make eye contact.) The bad part to the hotel were the fact they had no vending machines, I mostly just wanted a place to buy a bottle of water, or a place to fill up my water bottle. Also, the breakfast was really sad and not at all what I would expect from a hotel offering a breakfast selection. Ive seen super8's with a better breakfast.
