Great Vacation

The house was the perfect size and layout to accommodate our multi-generational family. The pool and deck area were great. Our concern about some of the outdoor furniture was addressed quickly. No other problems during our stay. Would definitely recommend this lovely home.

This property is an excellent place to stay in Chatham. There is ample living and sleeping spaces! The outside deck and pool are well kept with a large backyard.

Week in Chatham

Everything was exactly as advertised. The house was spacious and offered enough room for everyone do various activities as there were several downstair rooms to use. the kitchen was more than adequate for ten people. The pool and deck, however were the main attraction. It was where we all got together after an active day on the Cape. The children used the pool constantly.

So much fun...

My friends and I rented this house for our 60th birthdays. There were 10 of us. There was room for all of us and we had a blast. The kitchen was well equipped to cook and make everyone happy. The pool was the BEST. We never went to the beach. The location is close to the center of Chatham which is a lovely little town that we also enjoyed during our stay. I think the listing is true to form and can't imagine anyone not enjoying themselves. They all want to go again :0)

A Mixed Review

This was our first time at this property. However we have been going to the Cape (mostly Chatham) for many years. Firstly, VRBO and their agent, Turnkey were excellent! Very easy to work with. We knew we were going to an old farmhouse and some of older rooms were fine. The kitchen had everything you could want and up to date. The newer adjacent room was also fine. Though we happen to have a picked a very humid week and that’s where the problems were. The window air conditioning units (only in the bedrooms and one small room downstairs) were less than efficient. They were old and small. One bedroom unit could not handle the size of the room due to the fact that there were no curtains in that room. Also, there were ants throughout the house. The outside was PERFECT! The deck was great! It was big and the gate to the pool was perfect for young ones. The pool was awesome and since it was hotter than hot, we spent quite a bit of time there! The yard beyond was great for games and for the kids to run around. Cannot resist adding that the amount of energy wasted on having old AC units could easily be resolved by a week’s rental. Would we rent this house again? Yes, if it was fully air conditioned and the ants were mitigated.

Family Trip to the Cape

Perfect Cape House for a Group of Friends!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was fully equipped with everything we could have needed for our long weekend. From the comfy bedrooms to the gorgeous pool and outdoor space, the house was perfect for our girls trip! Hope to stay here again in the future!!

Perfect getaway to Cape even in winter

This was just what our group of 8 (two families) needed - a change of scenery. Everyone got their own bed, and ample bathrooms. We loved having two hang-out areas! Even brought firewood so we could have fires in the fireplace - which worked perfectly. We cooked every night and found everything we needed in the well equipped kitchen! The location was great - able to walk and bike into town. And also easy to get around the Cape for beach walks in Truro and sunsets at Rock Harbor beach!

Spacious farmhouse gem in Chatham

First off this place is big, lots of room for a large family vacation. We had 6 adults and 5 children from 1-5. The heated salt water pool and big deck is where most of our time was spent. The backyard has a lot of privacy which was a plus and there is an outdoor shower. The beaches and downtown area are all close by and the bike trail is right next to the house. You should know, there is no ac in this house, but there are fans so something to consider depending on the time of year you stay. Overall this was a great spot!

Great experience

Overall property was amazing. Everything was clean. Only two complaints I have is lock box to the pool was open and I could not get it to lock and with three kids youngest 4 it had me on edge. Other was their was no air conditioner. Thank god most of stay it was cool out however that first night was brudle. When I reached out to someone about it I got no response till this day. 1 week later now. However fans were put in every room and we survived.

Great time away!

We had a great time! The house was beautiful. We had 6 adults, 5 kids and a baby. There was enough room for us all to sit and eat without taking shifts, the kitchen was gorgeous- and used a lot, but the huge yard and pool were the winning features where we spent the most time. We all had a great -much needed- time away. The management company was very responsive to my questions and concerns. There were two things that made me not give this house 5 stars all the way through. There was no air conditioning! We missed that when looking at the house details, so it’s our fault, but thought others would want to know. And we weren’t allowed in the house until an hour after checkin time because cleaners were still cleaning (and missed a few spots) and couldn’t get late checkout.

Pleasant stay in Chatham

An excellent stay in Chatham, overall property experience was amazing! Slightly far out from Main Street at a 30 minute walk but the property makes up for it.

Great property close to town and bike paths

The house is a great house for groups. There are 3 living areas, 2 dining areas. The kitchen was well stocked clean and new. Would definitely recommend this property for a group or multiple families. Beautiful new pool surrounded by natural environment. Very private home.
