Renovations made my stay awful

Rooms shouldn't be advertised at the normal rate when the hotel is under this level of renovation. Dust, noise, holes in the walls, workers in hallway at all hours. The first two rooms I was offered had construction equipment in the tubs. Horrible stay.

Hotel is under construction with paint fumes.

The hotel under construction in the lobby. The lobby door isn't secure. Walking into you are hit with the fumes of paint. Checking on new year eve with the current weather in Charlotte made for a first observation nightmare. The front desk attendant was not professional needless to say. I contacted Travelocity and request a refund.

Painting and renovation work ongoing

Not told before arrival of renovation work. Was told at checking but that was to late to find another motel. Poor signage makes finding location difficult. TV did not work . When I reported to desk told go back up to your room and push harder on the button on TV. Don’t even try to use remote. Did not work but no one followed up. Reported again next day but no joy.

Don't waste your money.

The motel was very run down. There were 3 large deep scrapes on the wall. The carpet was worn down...But the worst of all was the mattress. There are no words to describe how broken down it was. We were very disappointed that a Microtel was in this bad of shape.

Nasty

The rooms where nasty and smelled. The hallways had food on the floor. So nasty it needs to close down and be cleaned and remodeled. I can't believe this place is open. But I guess u get what u pay for. So if u want to sleep in a nasty place for cheap this is the place.
