Despite this evidence, we felt like the resort was more concerned with protecting the individuals involved than helping us as guests.We repeatedly asked for updates and assistance, but communication was poor and we constantly had to chase down information ourselves. We were told an investigation was taking place, yet it never felt like there was any real urgency or effort to resolve the situation. Eventually, we had to involve the police because we felt we were getting nowhere.What was most disappointing was learning that the two women were never banned from the resort, even after video evidence showed them taking money from the bag. As paying guests and victims of theft, it was incredibly frustrating to see no meaningful action taken. It left us with the impression that our concerns were not being taken seriously.We understand that a resort cannot control every guest’s actions, but it can control how it responds when something happens. Unfortunately, the lack of accountability, transparency, and support made an already stressful situation much worse.We came here expecting a relaxing vacation and left feeling disappointed. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this place."
