Pros* Staff was always happy and helpful, except Receptionist who was a bit serious upon arrival Cons* *NO WIFI *lnfested with roaches *Dirty linen, curtains and shower wasn't draining properly. *Dirty Cups in room *Kids jumping in the pool and water being splashed EVERYWHERE, including in our DRINKS! *beach balls hitting our face, literally hitting our face and head every min. *People cutting you in line in Dining room *Pool was overpopulated with Day Pass locals that we couldn't enjoy the pool. *Shower Curtian had mold stains *Broken Air Conditioner *Shower doesn't drain properly *Kicked out the pool by 6pm *No lifeguard

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your opinion. I am certainly very disappointed that your stay was not as pleasant as it could have been. On behalf of the resort, I apologize for any inconvenience or lapse during your stay, Concerning your comment about the insects, we inform you, that we dispose of programs of protection against insect and rats pests and we apply them more than set up by law. This situation does not happen very often and depends on the hot clime we have in this area. In the moments of extreme temperatures, especially the flying insects enter from the garden or from the street. In regards to the activities program, one of the big problems of the entertainment programs is that we have three different principal tourist markets, British, Spanish and German, but we have also a considerable increase of Belgian, Dutch and Portuguese tourists, which makes a perfect entertainment for all of them and in all languages very difficult. We work very hard every day to improving our activities with a constant formation of our staff. Therefore we offer courses, where we set great foreign languages. In addition, we post all rules and regulations for pool use as well schedule since there is no lifeguard which we duly inform our guest and have the signs in the pool area. However I feel again that these inconveniences have caused discomfort during your stay and in any case, I would have been delighted to have been able to attend you personally and help you make your stay more pleasant. Our fourth overall visit; first under new owners. We stayed in the former Riu Merengue area. It's still a good value - mature, relaxing property with a great, scenic beach, adequate accommodations that need some updating. The food is repetitive and not on par with comparable resorts, especially the 'speciality' Italian and Steak House fare. The service staff was good, but the reception staff could make a better effort to address guest concerns. The wi-fi is a joke, and excuses were the only 'solutions' offered.

Everything was good really better than i thought and i do not why it get bad reviews.The food was good not great.Specially dinner are the best meal.

The food was terrible each day, had me sick Everytime. The bed was so hard and the pillows too soft. It was two beds placed next to each other, so you couldn't move too much or you would fall down the middle. The bathroom products were very limited, no shampoo or conditioner and the soap was so small that it would be gone in three uses. The pool was filthy and closed too early each day. The staff was great and spoke different languages.

The resort was wonderful! We had the best time. Everything was super clean and beautiful. The staff are all extremely friendly and made sure we had a great vacation! Neury was the best waiter, Gonzalez made the best drinks and the girls at check in were the best! The beach is beautiful! We really couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon! Only thing that we did not like was you had to pay for drinks in the discoteca which caused people not go in and made it kind of dead instead of fun.
