Our room was in need of updates. The blow dryer looked like it had been ripped from the wall and just the holes and ripped wallpaper left. No drain plug in the sink so I feared dropping anything near the sink for fear it might fall down the drain. All five pillows on the king size bed were hard! And the window looked like it never got cleaned. Other than that it was okay.

The room was fine but didn't spend much time there. The only complaint I have is the in-room coffee. They provided 1 regular and 1 decaf. We prefer the regular coffee and tried to exchange the decaf for another regular but had no success. My suggestion is to provide 2 of each type. The guest will leave whatever they don't drink so the effect on the budget should be minimal. Also want to note that their slots were much tighter than the other properties. We wound up leaving the property to gamble elsewhere.

Great employees!

Quick one night trip (solo female) and when I checked in the room I reserved was sold out so I was "upgraded" to a first floor courtyard view. I asked if I could get a room on a higher floor without access to the room from a slider and the lovely front desk moved me up one flight. Room was large (I had one king bed) with a table, chairs, small coffee pot (keurig) and mini fridge. Bed was comfortable and the AC worked great. This is an older facility and it's showing its age in the rooms but they are clean and my issue with my toilet not flushing properly was immediately handled. A bit pricey for Laughlin standards, but it's where my family wanted to stay. I've stayed at the Golden Nuggett a handful of times so I know what I'm getting - which is always a safe, clean spot to rest for the night with employees who work hard and it shows.
