Wonderful breakfast buffet. Clean room and helpful staff. The thermostat for aircon was not functioning and thats probably because central aircon was not switched on yet at this time of the year.

Location could not have been better! Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Rooms are compact but very comfortable. Rooms not on the street side are quieter on the weekends. A very reasonable choice in a high priced neighborhood!

Stay was okay, arrived on at Tuesday but the restaurant closes during the week. There are restaurants in the old town. Returned at 9pm and the bar closed.

Beds were comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast a tad disappointing and rather expensive. Hotel used a lot by tour groups so a bit noisy in the lobby and restaurant sometimes

We had a wonderful stay and the Hotel Royal very quiet and comfortable and was a great location … the staff were extremely helpful and breakfast was great! I would stay again for sure !!

"This is a poorly designed old budget hotel describing itself as a boutique hotel. The room was tiny with the toilet a few feet directly next to the bed. There were strange vibrating noises heard at night. The room and bathroom did not smell fresh. The hotel is in 10 min walking distance to train and lake but not the best location."
