We loved our stay at Hotel Central Luzern! The front desk staff was so helpful, gave great tips and recommendations! The hotel is a five minute walk or less from the train station, and easy to find! The room is clean, beds and comforters were amazing! We would stay again for sure!

This hotel was delightful. Super convenient for the station and the boat pier, 5 mins walk max, and from the main old town. Breakfast lovely and fresh, with a lounge area for all day use and bringing your own food back to eat (great when trying to save a bit of money and not eat out every day!). Friendly staff who made me feel really welcome. If I'm back in Luzern, I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is in a great central location with plenty of restaurants and activities very close by. My only negative was no AC but they usually don’t have the heat we experienced while there. Breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Front desk is very friendly. walking distance to train station, restaurants and super market. Common eating area open during the day to have your own lunch or dinner. We really enjoyed the free coffee after a long day. Tasty breakfast with lot of options for everyone. Serving staff is very helpful. The hotel also held our bags free of charge after we checked out so that we can explore the city before leaving. Will definitely stay again.

Close to Train station

The positives: This hotel was an easy 4 min. walk to the train station. They had a lovely dining / common area that was open 24/7 and many guests brought take out food to eat there instead of going to restaruants. The bed was comfortable. The down side: The room and bathroom were small. ( the bathroom reminded me of the one on our motorhome). As there is no central air, we opened the windows at night, however, it was quite noisy. By night two, we learned to use ear plugs and the fan they provided in the room. Both helped.

The property was clean and adequate. Very basic but all we really needed. The highlight was the continental breakfast. It was outstanding with fresh fruit, croissants, meats, hard and softboiled eggs, yogurts with toppings. If you were going for a hike later, you could make yourself a sandwich froma all the wonderful breads, croissants, meats and cheeses. Coffee machine made amazing espresso and a variety of drinks. We would stay here again.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, although quite hot due to the weather and no AC. Despite being near a main road it was quiet, although deliveries to a nearby business was quite loud on a couple of mornings. The single room I had was a good size but the bathroom was tiny. Breakfast was amazing with a great continental selection. The staff at the hotel were extremely informative when I checked in and very friendly throughout my stay. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station and Old Town. There is also good public transport connections nearby.

This hotel is extremely overpriced considering there is no AC and no fridge in the room. I also did not like how the luggage area is entirely unsupervised and anyone can take any luggage. This is a basic service that should be provided. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly but it does not make uo for the lack in other areas
