The location was great. But on the description it said it had a rooftop bar. It was never open. The room was big, but the mattresses were terrible. We were in a 1 king bedroom suite. The king mattress was very worn out and indented. The pullout sofa bed was even worse. Very uncomfortable. Then we were told upon arrival that we had to request the room to be cleaned. We requested it to be cleaned every day. In 1 week it was only cleaned 2 times. That shouldn’t be optional. The staff was not very friendly nor helpful.

Overpriced

First off we were told we had a view from our hotel room when in actually it overlooked an alley way and another building right next to it. On top of our overly priced room they still charged us 50 bucks for valet to my card which I've never had done before. I usually tip the valet accordingly but have never had it taken off my card. We were disappointed that such an expensive hotel had no room service whatsoever. We were 15 minutes late getting out of our room and got a knock on the door from a very unfriendly cleaning lady basically saying we needed to leave, which we were already doing. After the cleaning lady came to our door we then got a very annoying phonecall from the front desk saying the same thing the cleaning lady did to us less then 5 minutes after the first disturbance. We don't stay over at hotels very often however for an almost 300 dollar night I was not very pleased at all. We were rushed out of the room and the staff were unfriendly except for the valet men, they were very friendly. The breakfast at the hotel was okay nothing special. Our hotel room was very well cleaned and looked very nice. My only issue really was the staffs customer service skills.

Nice hotel in Boston

The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located 1 mile from long wood hospital area. The location has many restaurants and seem safe.

Very well located, well-run hotel near Fenway

Pros: Staff. Comfortable bed. Kitchen area in room. Printer connected to hotel computer in lobby. Good free wireless internet. Location.
Cons: Towel rack near bathroom sink.
Location: Near Fenway. Restaurants and other businesses in the area.
We booked this hotel because it was walking distance from Dana Farber hospital. The hotel lobby and breakfast area is unpretentious and welcoming. Staff was particularly open and friendly. Breakfast was better than what I usually see as included breakfast in this type of hotel. Hotel had only King bed rooms with pull out sofa (according to hotel reception) - so we were unable to get two queen size beds. Room had good sized fridge and kitchen area, and was clean. Our room had a kitchen/sitting area separate from the bedroom area - so had the feel of a small suite. Hotel is convenient to the medical facilities along Brookline Ave. - about a 15 min. walk from Data Farber at 450 Brookline. Pricing appeared reasonable, but our room was booked as part of a flight/hotel deal, so difficult to tell what part of the cost should be allocated to the room.
