Sharp hotel...Slack hotel staff

Pros: Location and facility
Cons: STAFF!!!!
Location: You are in the heart of it all.
I was really excited to stay at this hotel. The facilities are beautiful and the location is excellent but that is all this place has going for it right now. I have never understood the "check in at 3pm/check out at 11 am" requirement but I have come to accept it. When we arrived at 3pm to check in we were told our room wasn't ready and that there were people in front of us for rooms so it may be "awhile". Things happen but the reason this made me angry was the attitude and arrogance that this news was delivered to us. No sincere apology or explanation; just arrogance. We received our room an hour later. I found the staff pretty full of themselves, especially at their restaurant where we had a meal while they tested their fire alarm system for a deafening twenty minutes. Talk about no ambiance. Again a total indifference from their staff. For the expensive room rate you should expect more. Nice facility though but I will stick with my old favorite..The Westin.
