It was great to have free transportation to downtown Banff by bus. The view is incredible. The cleanliness was not too great, there was soft drinks cans under the table next to the sofa. It's not renovated but we have all what we needed.

Dated rooms. Bugs in light fixtures and the pool and sauna are a bit run down. Downstairs rooms very noisey if other guests are above. Very friendly and attentive staff. The location and views are wonderful. The wood burning fireplace and free wood are a perk not found often in Banff anymore. We will be back again 100%

The balcony railings were pretty much falling off so my kids couldnt go out there, some plugs were missing the cover plates, the fireplace chainmail was falling off and couldnt be put back up due to such bad over usage so it was very unsafe to have a fire. Toilet barely flushed. The whole place needs maintenance and staff werent very friendly. When i checked out the guy at the lobby counter didnt even ask how the stay was. Definitely wont be staying there again

You can see the age of the property and overall usage but for what it is, it's good value. There are some cleanliness issues in some of the bedsheet undercovers (specifically in the downstairs game room pullout couch mattress) and lots watergrime in the shower but what can you expect for a property of this age. The hot tubs used salted water instead of chlorine and the sauna is great. It's a bit out of the ways from Banff. Bus takes about 10 minutes to get downtown from the hotel. Bus passes are provided free of charge. There is a coin laundry on site. Staff was amazing overall. Would book again for my large group.

Needs updating and better cleaning.

It's a great resort, but the pools are too small for the amount of people that are there. The rooms are nice and spacious, but it needs to be updated. The walls have nicks on them and the bathroom shower area's walls are slippery and have black mold on them. I love that there's a fireplace and free firewood in the resort. A great get-away, too bad we weren't able to enjoy the pool because of it being too packed.

It was an enjoyable stay overall. We had a group of 6 for family and staying together in the premium loft was great pleasure. Love the outdoor hot pool and sauna, and lobby with complimentary drink bar with hot chocolate provided. Th kitchen has adequate utensils for cooking and eating which was great. It would be better if some pans for stir-fry can be provided instead of just pots. Also, we think the hotel can do better is parking arrangement. It was first come first serve basis but we think the hotel can consider assigning it parking spot to guest which is close to their hotel room. Sometimes we are not able to find a spot close to our room, which was not ideal.
