Ashland Hills Hotel & Suites

"Nice hotel with clean, modern facilities"
The Ashland Hills Hotel is a nice hotel with clean, modern facilities and a lovely new lobby. The amenities include an attractive swimming pool, tennis courts, and an exercise room. A breakfast buffet is included in the room rate. We found the breakfast to be adequate, but not overwhelming - the bread and muffins were supermarket quality and the pancakes from the pancake machine were heavy. There is also a cafe on site. We had a very nice lunch at the cafe. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Plaza Inn & Suites at Ashland Creek

"Quiet - Within short walk to shops & theaters"
Easy to find and well located with short walking distances to plays, Lithia Park and most shops / restaurants. Also pretty darn quiet considering it's closeness to the main streets of Ashland. Our view was mediocre at best - looked out over parking lots and street; but we were at least able to see some nice hills in the distance. It appears many other rooms have MUCH better views - even some with balconies creekside. These would've been better for our evening glass of wine before the play -- or morning coffee (Keurig in the room). Décor was nice and our room was very clean. Luckily, we stopped at a local winery on our way into Ashland and picked up a bottle to enjoy in our room as there was no complimentary 5PM wine / cheese thing in the dining area as advertised on website (Fridays & Saturdays only). Continental breakfast was just "OK" but next time we will opt to go out for breakfast or brunch instead. We did however sit out in the morning sunshine in the deck off the dining area and that was nice.

"Ashland Springs Hotel"
We spent the weekend in Ashland visiting our granddaughter. We had a great time. The hotel is located right downtown and was just three blocks from our granddaughter. Restaurants and shops are close. We didn't need to use our car. The hotel is quaint and charming, and they have a nice breakfast buffet. It is more then a contentiental breakfast. I would stay there again.
