Place was clean for the most part. No air conditioning but the weather wasn't crazy hot. Bathroom smelled really bad which was the worst I could say about this place. But the staff was amazing she was caring and attentive.

"We loved staying at Chachagua and would highly recommend it to anyone considering. The property is sprawling, with so much available onsite to enjoy. We took advantage of the coffee and chocolate tour, the cooking class, and the night tour on property. All were excellent. Additionally, Chachagua’s location is perfect for seeing Costa Rican wildlife. In less than 48 hours, we saw nearly everything we had only hoped we would see. The staff are friendly, the onsite guides are amazingly knowledgeable, and the quality of the hot springs are really nice. We also booked tours through the hotel that were in La Fortuna, ~30 minute drive. Those were also well coordinated and well communicated. We can’t say enough good things about our stay! "
