very cool historical brick building upstairs of a brewery and pub. the 2-story 2bedroom suite set-up was perfect for a family of 5 ppl. neighborhood offers a variety of restaurant options and sense of security overall. everything was walkable: to the harbour center, historic chinatown, water front. The streets did clean so much compare to 2024, in terms of street-living crowds. it was a great choice, will come again! pub food was tasty + opens late!

Such a beautiful island ... Beyond my expectations. Hotel was comfy and located in a pretty good location. It's a rustic property with lots of great history and the pub is spot on! Definitely enjoyed my stay and appreciate the friendly service.

Room was great, convenient location, staff was great. We had an issue with the cold water in shower not working. It was fixed immediately. The other thing to know that we did not is they rent out the penthouse unit for functions. There was a wedding that was very loud. But front desk said that they enforce quiet time at 11 and sure enough at exactly 11 the music was shut off and we did not hear any more noise from that unit.

Excellent hotel. We travel often as a family of 4, with teens. There was SO much space in the 1-bedroom suite we rented. The staff were excellent, and the suite was super clean. We will be staying here in the future when we are in Victoria.

I have really mixed feelings about this place. The overall style is very lovely. It's a vintage building, the room was clean, well-decorated, and very spacious, with a nice street view. The location is also wonderful, walkable distance to all the cute stores. The biggest problem, is the noise. The hotel is located right above its pub, so it can get loud at night. Good thing is the pub music usually stops at 12am, and most customers seem to leave by 1, so if everything goes smoothly, you can fall asleep after that. Unfortunately, in our case, there is an extra problem, the couple staying near our room. They were having CRAZY MONKEY SEX ALL NIGHT LONG! Since it's an old building with no soundproofing, and because the rooms are so spacious, the noise was even amplified. We couldn’t even figure out which room it was coming from. Strangely, the hallway itself was completely silent — it was so peaceful that at one point, we even considered sleeping in the hallway. The front desk lady was very friendly but couldn't help — she couldn't locate the room so she couldn't just go around knocking on doors which we understood. We ended up not sleeping at all. My husband even sat in the hotel lobby at 5am to escape the noise. Thanks to this sleepless night, we had to cancel our trip the next day and left the hotel before 6am I was so exhausted when packing that I even forgot my tiny bird toy in the room. Overall, it was a beautiful hotel with a really unfortunate experience. :-(

Beautiful hotels with unique rooms, ours was on the 3rd floor. It had a full kitchen, a pull out bed as well as doors that opened up to a nice view to outside. There was stairs in the room that went up to a sizable bedroom loft with a king sized bed. Superb location
