Fantastic property, location, privacy and an amazing, service oriented staff. Would definitely stay again. The room towers could use some exterior paint and the windows a good washing. Little things that make a big difference. The property is older. Top notch for its day, but dated.

Incredible time for our family of five. True relaxation which is hard to achieve on family trips! Gorgeous setting, great staff. Loved yoga with Brenda and the entertainment team (high quality shows every single night) and the Kids Club staff (my 5yo misses them). Buffet food was unique and delicious and made from scratch. I tried many new things. And that ocean sound…sublime!

Staff was great. Pools are very clean. I know that the hotel was nearly full but we had no issues getting into restaurants or getting drinks at the pool throughout the day. Great time?

Where do I start, the whole exterior needs a paint job & renovation. The exterior looks very outdated. We were welcome to our suite to have pool towels instead of a full set of guests towels, bathroom glass walls were smudgy with finger prints & etc, the sink had a sewer stinch, our fridge had very minimum beverages, Blaze restaurant gave me Mexican coffee with part of a dead bee’s body…I thought it was a worm but the waiter Ivan said; it’s not a worm; it’s a bee & they get in there because of the brown sugar. As if having a bee is better than a worm . It’s not a 4 1/2 hotel rating; more like a 3 Star…,please correct their rating ASAP. We are use to staying in the RIU Hotels…..the Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta is definitely a downgrade from the RIU Hotels

The staff was amazing! Armando and the Armando Special kept me hydrated all week! When our flight was canceled they were very helpful and let us keep our room at a great rate!! Clean and the food was delicious! Only suggestion is we wished the coffee was like the Ziva in Cancun!

Hotel was located on a beautiful stretch of beach. The restaurants were good and the pools were nice too. I think there could have been more staff interaction and quicker service but overall, the staff did their job well and attempted to anticipate your needs. I wish there were more places to sit near the pool as it was sometimes hard to get a seat.
