Location is fabulous for the sites. It is a good hotel, nothing extravagant. Room was nice and had everything you need. Wish the dining options within the hotel was more varied. But again, location is fabulous.

Pool is old and needs to be replaced or at least fixed. Women's dressing room is a mess largely from water damage. Dining and bar area felt kind of makeshift. Only one crappy coffee pod for the room, no coffee available elsewhere except for sit down, expensive restaurant. And just drip coffee. The artwork is dumb: it just says "this is art." Elevator doors have historic photo that looked to me like a prison door. "Front desk" is not in the front. But the room was huge and the surfaces, sheets, and towels clean.

Great hotel in a great location

We had a great stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, only one elevator was working, so that was a bit inconvenient. The staff was all wonderful! Many sights are within walking distance.

Property is nice. Rooms are nice. View is nice. Area is historic. Everything was good except two things. 1) the parking deck that they have available is only 6’4”. So if you have a truck, you won’t fit. Wish that was in the description somewhere telling me that. 2) there was no hot water in my room. Went to take a shower in the morning, the water never warmed up. Not even remotely close to be like warm. Other than that, really liked the hotel. Just a shame I have to give it the rating I am.

Look elsewhere, good location, but that's it

There was buildup of shampoo on the shower floor. The kind that would only happen if the room is rarely cleaned well. The toilet stopped working once and, even after 'fixed', it was still in poor condition. One of two elevators was out during our stay. The indoor pool was freezing cold and not clean. The service in the restaurant was atrocious. There was nobody there and I still couldn't get service. My wife asked for hot water for tea, was given some kind of hot brown water. After we asked what it was, the waitress said she was sorry and didn't know how to work the machine. Ok, but why not just say that instead of handing my wife whatever the hell came out of the machine without a word until we said something? The location is very good, but the hotel failed to deliver what was advertised on virtually every other level.

Front desk and cleaning services were fantastic. The hostess in the morning was rude and would not make eye contact or communicate with us so we walked out of the restaurant in lobby. Walls were paper thin and could hear everything. No storage in the room. Only one drawer and no other place to put clothes. Overall disappointing experience.
