Property was not kept up. Had no cold water, had to be fixed multiple times, resulting in a new room. Many other items broken: AC controls, bathroom fan, nightstand power, cabinet doors. Elevator buttons selected up and down at the same time. Ice machines were supposed to be on multiple floors, but it only worked on floor 16. Vendors for bus tickets stood right outside the hotel, harassing you the second you stepped out. Staff was really nice though.

The front desk staff was friendly and location was good. Overall the hotel wasnt bad but wouldnt stay again. Will pick other Hampton Inn ive stayed at before. We had many issues with keyncards not working and door handles getting caught and unable tonopen room door. Handle broke on toilet. We couldnt call front desk because room phone didnt work. Went down requested maintenance. After twonhours no one showed, so went down again. Finally someone showed up and toilet was fixed around 10pm.

Great Staff - Good for Groups

I booked this hotel last minute. When I arrived, I wanted to leave because it was full of large groups. Saud the front desk agent put me on the correct floor so I did not hear noise. I walked everywhere. I would stay here again when in the area. I did skip breakfast because it was so full. I had coffee. They recognized my Hilton Diamond Status.

For a Hampton by Hilton hotel, I was expecting more—especially considering the price I paid. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Let’s start with the fact that the lift clearly needed repairs, better lighting, and a serious cleaning. The room size was decent, but it reeked like something had died in there. There were no toiletries provided besides a basic bar of soap and body shower. And the breakfast? An absolute joke.

My only complaint is that it only has 2 elevators and in the mornings it is quite difficult to take it because it takes a long time, for the cleaning and loading staff should have another one apart from the guests. Another alternative would be to change the schedules or take the cleaning carts up to the floors in the early morning, so I think it would improve the flow of people in the elevator.

Convenient location and inexpensive. These are the main two positives about this hotel. The breakfast is pathetic and there are only two people serving it. One is making waffles, the other one is restocking and cleaning up. You need to set your expectations very low or you will be disappointed. There are only 2 elevators that are fit for about 10 people, but are meant for 6. We had to take an elevator up to go down, otherwise the elevators always came full. Overall, it was an OK stay, but we didn’t expect a Four Seasons, so it met our expectations.

First of all, I would like to express my appreciation to the hotel staff for accommodating my request. My first stay in New York was a positive experience. One of the key advantages of this hotel is that it does not charge a facility fee, unlike many other hotels in the area. This transparency in pricing is highly appreciated, as it eliminates unexpected additional charges. The hotel is well-maintained and situated in a convenient location, close to major attractions and within easy access to the subway. The provision of a hot breakfast is a significant benefit, especially for visitors to New York. We stayed on the 32nd floor and experienced no issues with the elevators throughout our stay. The hotel staff deserves special recognition for their professionalism and dedication. They responded promptly to requests and consistently provided the necessary support. As for cleanliness, it appears that a basic level of room cleaning is standard practice in the United States.

Great place to stay to be near Times Square. Area around the hotel felt safe and lively - lots of nearby food and shopping. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy. Our one issue was that we clogged the toilet, and it took over an hour for someone to come up and plunge it. Turns out when you press the button on the phone for 'front desk' it actually sends you to an answering service that relays the message to the front desk. Once I went downstairs and talked to the actual person at the desk it was resolved quickly. Unfortunately, it didn't get logged in the system, so maintenance woke us up the next day wanting to fix it again.
