Property was not kept up. Had no cold water, had to be fixed multiple times, resulting in a new room. Many other items broken: AC controls, bathroom fan, nightstand power, cabinet doors. Elevator buttons selected up and down at the same time. Ice machines were supposed to be on multiple floors, but it only worked on floor 16. Vendors for bus tickets stood right outside the hotel, harassing you the second you stepped out. Staff was really nice though.

Property is poorly run, sheets we got on our bed had hair, the elevator did not work, maids left their cart in front of our room for 2 days in a row, overall it was not a great stay, I would NOT recommend this hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel, the room (with two double beds) wasn't available. The Indian guy who helped us told us they were going to give us a room with a king bed and would change us to a double the next day. That didn't happen, as he left notes, and the next day no one was aware of it. The elevators were out of service. One was controlled by an employee. I had to take the stairs down the 21 floors twice. I was restricted from going out because of the elevator situation.

Both elevators appeared to be broken on and off the entire stay and was incredibly frustrating. The needs for it kept changing and there didn't appear to be any effort to actually fix it. Sometimes we needed to call, sometimes they were manning it with a maintenance staff member, sometimes it would skip our floor multiple times while waiting for it. If our schedule hadn't been as flexible we surely would've missed out on quite a few things - as it was we were adding close to a half hour of "commute" pretty much every time we came or went. The room was fine, check-in took forever and desk staff didn't offer to help at any point even though they appeared available. Staff seemed overworked almost the entire stay. Breakfast was crowded but fine. I hope they can finally get a handle on their basic maintenance.

We loved the breakfast staff at this property. However, the cleanliness not great and the elevator was not functioning properly for 3 out of our 4 days. We were on the 25th floor and we waited one night 40 minutes for the elevator and missed out dinner reservations!

The staff was superb and very responsive. The only issue were the elevators. I was waiting for nearly 20 minites to get on. I had to message the manager to send one up to my floor everytime I wanted to go downstairs. They were responsive but this was a hassle. Multiple times I ended up walking down from the 23th floor.

Wonderful experience, walkable to Port Authority and times square metro station where you can go anywhere, definitely check out the nearby bars, Upstate Pizza shop was also great! Hotel Includes breakfast which is a huge PLUS. you might feel tight in rooms but this is NYC. overall 10/10

The hotel is close enough to Times Square to walk. The beds are clean, the bathroom is updated. But the rest of the room is just old dirty. If you use their parking, make sure you get a receipt showing you do not have a parking balance & it’s taken care of before you leave.

The staff were very helpful and really worked to make our stay pleasant. The only downside of the property is there are only two elevators. Sometimes it was very busy. I would stay there again. It’s just good to know if you’re trying to get somewhere in a hurry that there may be times when you might allow a few extra minutes. We were in town site seeing so it wasn’t a problem for us.

I did book a 2 beds room and is confirmed by your side with records. However, hotel said only can give me one bed room and said they have received this instruction from your side, Expedia. And i was arranged to stay to another hotel nearby and have to pay extra USD 34 . It just shows Expedia and/ or the hotel didnt care what they have previously confirmed to its customer. In fact, this substited hotel doesn't worth us to pay extra USD 34 as cleanliless is bad and furnitures inside are old and worn and smelly carpets in my bed room. It is late night check in. We just want to desh to beds to sleep. Comments to Expedia, not just to the hotel - Hamptons Times Square South.

I cannot recommend this hotel. We booked it based on budget and the need for a room with two double beds and those are the only reasons I have awarded two stars. The staff (with the exception of one receptionist and Cesar on breakfast duty) were uninterested in their work and offered no elements of customer service. One day our keycards didn’t work and my sister was given replacements with no requirement to identify herself which is a security concern. There are only two, six person, lifts for a 32 floor hotel. The room and bathroom were a reasonable size for the budget and location, but the cleaning was inconsistent. We had a coffee maker but were only given replacement coffee one day in a week long stay. Towels were replaced in various combinations of amount and size. Breakfast was poor quality food. Everything was disposable with plastic wrapped plastic cutlery and paper plates. I would recommend searching for alternatives
