"The Apex Waterloo is conveniently located to many of Edinburgh’s attractions. It’s an easy walk to Weaverly Station. Close to Princes Street Gardens. If you forgot anything there’s a mall right behind the hotel and the shops on Princes Street is an easy walk. Easy access to the Royal Mile. It’s my second time to base my Edinburgh trip from this hotel. I’ll use it for future trips too."

"Petite chambre mais conviviale. Apportez vos papiers mouchoirs car il n’y en a pas ni frigo ni cafetière. Par contre salon et salle manger parfaite au rez-de-chaussée où on lire, prendre un verre mini bar ouvert jusqu’à minuit ou juste regarder la vue extérieure. Des parapluies sont mis à votre disposition! Petit-déjeuner varié mais pas de plats chauds."

"Lots to like about the hotel. Staff are lovely, the pool was fabulous to use after a long day sightseeing, the room was small but comfortable and the bathroom had lovely products. We enjoyed the complimentary drink on our first night and the most delicious meal in Baba, which I would highly recommend! The negative was the noise from our room. We were in the modern bit, next to the Wetherspoon pub and both Fri and Saturday night until after 1am was very loud with lots of drunk people. It was Halloween weekend but try and avoid those rooms."

"Reception was quick and easy. Room was spotless, very good size. We were able to cast our Netflix to the TV which was great. Restaurant was excellent at night and the buffet breakfast was incredible, brilliant choice and food was good quality."
