W is for Woeful
Well W is not for wonderful that is for sure This hotel is woefully short on all fronts, the room was lovely but we had no form of heating as the controls where broken, the sheets where not changed in 3 days - the service crew just turned them over thinking the marks would not be noticed The W Bar has zero service - took 30 mins and 2 attempts to get a bottle of wine and an hour for food Tried to eat at the sushi restaurant but it was such an effort we walked out Room service was a nonsense Much better options in Edinburgh- I won’t stay here again

Book the Balmoral, and go to W Hotel for drinks
Paid for a five-star experience - did not receive it. Hotel is understaffed, has billing issues (they're overcharging everyone), and has clearly opened without being ready. The studio suite rooms are nice though, and Joao's bar has an amazingly good bartender.
