Stayed 6/15-6/19 2 adults and 2 children under 10 years old. Overall our stay was ok. First off the place is like a maze and centered more to what i feel like are time shares so the feeling i got from front desk staff was like i was a bother to be there as a non time share guest since i didn't want to attend the "open house". Room had flaws as many older resorts/hotels do (carpet torn, shelving supports falling from wall, mini fridge needed a defrost, typical hard bed etc.) Oh well we go for the beach anyway an just need a room to sleep in. On to the beach, Myrtle was nice as always but not all hotels have the best access to the beach. Landmark had direct access from the middle of the resort so that was good. Keep in mind if you have a beach cart it is difficult because there are steps. We decided to take the public access beside it because there was a ramp but that meant going out the front of the maze and around the building. While you navigate through this resort you left with 8 elevators. 2 at the lobby, 2 in the back near the beach, and 4 on the east tower. The most common being the 2 near the beach. 1 elevator was down at the beach side so wait times on this elevator was long and from what it sounded like it has been down for awhile. Pools was nice including the lazy rivers and multiple hot tubs. I was however disappointed that the tiki bar was only open select hours and not in the evening. I guess my expectations was high since it was a "resort". Scrambled review..Sry

DEFINITELY NOT A RESORT DONT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Walking into the lobby was ok. Check in was easy. As soon as we got to the motel entrance I got worried. We opened our first door to our first room, to find a warm damp room. Granted the weather was 73/74 not too hot with a good breeze. So we aired it out, unloaded our stuff and started to load the groceries we had gotten. When I found our friend the roach in the fridge. Dead but still a roach. So threw him away finished unpacking and noticed the toilet wouldn’t shut off. I remove the lid to the tank and the guts shot up luckily I was able to stop it before it came all the way off and pushed it back down and called the front desk. They put us in a new room the only room they have left that’s ocean view. We get to that room it was dirtier furniture was stained and gross we covered it with an extra sheet. We was there for our anniversary tho so we wanted to make the best of it so we go dressed and went to the beach. We got back to the hotel about 10:30-11. We get ready for bed and realize there’s no blanket just 2 top sheets and the mattress is some old from the 70’s spring mattress, hard as hell and then the tv wouldn’t work so I call front desk. Nothin we can do till tomorrow. If u still want it fixed in the morning come to the front desk. So we sleep in the livingroom on the fold down short bed. I’m 5’8” my feet hung off the bottom. Over all it was horrible!!!! Never again will I ever stay here again. And the pool water looked nasty just a very bad experience!!

The stay was pleasent and we enjoyed it... The only thing i did not like was they would not give me a receipt they said i booked through a third party and i would have to get a receipt through them... I have not heard of this.

The suite was dirty, bed was not properly fixed the railing hurt my mother’s ankle. Found a used bandaid on the balcony, furniture on balcony dirty. Had to constantly ask for wash clothes and towels. Was not a pleasant experience.

The first room smelled horrible (musk and moth balls) could not operate the TVs, and the space of the room was too tight- felt claustrophobic! Finally decided to asked for another room. Which was better, Though no generic kpod coffee machine in rooms. No disposable coffee cups in room. Most of the staff that ran the front except for 2 of them were lazy and too busy on their personal phones while people were in line. I asked for decaf pack of coffee to put in coffee pot in the room you thought I asked for the staff member to come turn down my bedsheets. We always have stayed at Landmark, enjoyed it but we will never go back there again! Landmark may need to put air purifiers throughout hotel to aid in removal of all the weed smoke! It was NOT worth the price we paid to stay!
