The location is amazing, the pools are great, but this property is far from a resort. After checking in, I was told to talk the concierge, but he was just a guy offering discount tickets to attractions if I sat through a sales pitch for a timeshare. The description of the room was two queen beds that sleeps 4. This room is so small there is no way 4 adults could stay there. The room was 2 queen beds with 2 feet around them. Lastly I set the AC to 68, and the room temperature went from 73 when we checked in and 75 when we checked out. I called the desk after the first day, and someone came up to my room to tell me that the room I was in was sharing a system with the room next door. I would come back to Myrtle Beach, but I wouldn’t stay here again. I guess Bay View is relatively cheap for beachfront by Myrtle Beach standards, so I guess I got what I paid for.

This was my first time staying at the Bay View Resort. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was clean and had a gorgeous view. There were some things in need of repair/updating (carpets, luggage carts). The pool area was fun and the new pool bar was a great spot. The drinks were delicious and the bartender was very friendly and fun. The resort does have off site (about a block away) parking. It is within walking distance of the “strip” and there are several dining options nearby. Overall our stay was great and I would definitely book another stay here.

It’s ok stay. The only issue was the unloading and loading issue. Not enough cart to carry your stuff up and down. Indoor poor the water is kinda brow. The outside pool is better.

Good location, just okay stay. Elevator issues in parking garage and resort, fire dept. called for resort. Could not control temperature in room even though thermostat present. Maintenance crew called for help, only to learn that our rooms air/heating was controlled by an adjoining room. Would not stay here again.

The upkeep was terrible this visit to this hotel. There were no towel’s available at the pool. There was an issue with the AC it wouldn’t turn off. The elevators were broke. Took a hour to get on the elevator had to use stairs to the 11th floor.
