On my arrival I had to drag my heavy luggage using the steps there’s elevator from the entrance into the building and there’s no bellman, to carry the guest’s luggage to their rooms. This is the first time I have ever experienced something like this I had checked in the day before my arrival but my room was still not ready after arrival even after arriving 2 hrs after the allowed check in time, I was however offered a drink as I waited for my room to be ready. The front desk lady offered to take my bags to my room dive they don’t have a bellman and helped also take my luggage by the street to wait for my Uber, unfortunately I don’t remember her name but she was very kind The front desk staff was very personable and kind they helped set up my reservation for afternoon tea. The breakfast was very good. When I arrived my door would not lock but they had maintenance come fix it. On my first night of arrival I requested shower caps I had to call 4 times before they were brought to my room I ordered room service breakfast on my last day. I had to reach out to check because they never brought it to my room @ the requested time by the time they brought it I was getting ready to check out so never got to finish my breakfast

I got upgraded (apparently) to a superior room. Please see pictures. Thank god it was for one night, arrival late and away early - I was completely overlooked from all windows and couldn’t open the blinds. I also got the welcome drink - don’t get the wine as you can’t choose and you get enough to rinse your mouth. The shower was angled and couldn’t be moved to get the water on your body. Poor from Apex. I have 6 nights next week for my team and personal trip - I hope it gets better or I’m taking my business else where. Room 321

Affordable for the location

Room and hotel had amenities, and it was clean and quiet. Location was pretty good, with easy access to the tube, but with luggage be sure to use the back entrance -- the front is a load of steps. Breakfast was overpriced, especially with a great sandwich shop across the street that opens early and serves tasty and affordable bagels and croissants. I definitely recommend the Scottish smoked salmon with cream cheese over there.
