This hotel was clean but it is tired. The air conditioner made dripping sounds that were loud. The key card system had failed and the staff had tried to rekey each room. That did not work on our room. The front desk guy came and let us into the room with a master key. We didn't have a key to our room. The staff was friendly and the breakfast the next morning was typical. The bed was quite comfortable.

Clean and Comfortable for the price

My special needs daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. The hot breakfast was fantastic my daughter and I had a wonderful nights sleep.

The room and everything in it including our clothes felt damp. The air conditioner was obviously not working correctly. Reported to front desk on check out and they seemed surprised that no one else had reported it. That is hard to believe. Told we would get a discount on the room rate for the 2 nights we stayed. Have not received a discount yet. Otherwise the room was clean, breakfast was good, and the staff were professional.

Tuesday, I was checked in by Assistant Manager, Willie, as a VIP so he said I was eligible to pick a snack and drink for free. Thursday, I think her name was, Jennifer, she helped me with a new key card. She told me about a delivery housekeeping would bring later that day and she then added that since I’m a VIP that I was eligible for a free late checkout at 1pm on date of departure. The whole stay was fine until the night before departure when I asked for, but was was told but Assistant Manager, Willie, that I was not eligible for free late check out. I asked again the morning of checkout and I was told by Seren and another clerk that I was not eligible. I told all concerned that I booked through a third party. So I cleared the room in a timely manner, before 11am and asked for a receipt from Seren. Seren then asked how my stay was and that’s when I reminded her of the miscommunication I experienced. She looked further into the situation/computer and finally said that I WAS eligible for free late checkout! She said I could return to room if I wanted to. However, my siblings and I had vacated the room already. Terrible last impression. I got denied a perk because I booked through a third party and there is some sort of glitch where special tier does not show up clearly. I was told I was VIP and the told I wasn’t. How disappointing to be misinformed.

I really appreciated the attendant who was on shift whichever night I came in. He noticed my Platinum status and immediately "upgraded" the room and gave a drink and a snack. I really appreciated that and it is a testament to the professionalism employed at the hotel. Outside of that, I was so exhausted I collapsed into bed and didn't really get a chance to take in too much of the hotel, but it was nice from what I took in. A little dated, but quality and clean throughout. I'm in and out of hotels a lot, and I'd give this one a solid A- with small improvements taking it higher.
