1st Vrbo trip & would come back

My wife and I wanted to travel to the Smoky Mountains and took a chance on this Vrbo property after reading the excellent reviews. The reviews helped us the best. The one question I didn’t think to ask before booking was if there was a requirement to use stairs. There is. It was a 2nd floor condo and no elevator. My wife has a disability and my old knees aren’t the greatest. We did OK getting our stuff up and down the stairs, but we would’ve preferred an elevator. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues that needed fixed. But that didn’t negatively impact our trip. We love the view and had a great stay. If we go back to Gatlinburg, we would love to stay there again. Max responded to any question very quickly. Awesome responsiveness.

Great property nestled in the hills

Wonderful location. Amazing views from second floor balcony. Fully stocked house. Max always responded within minutes. Make sure you reach the house before dark on the first day. Driving up the mountain can be tricky in the dark.

Enjoyed Our Stay

Condo was exactly as described on website. Very clean and cozy. Had all the essentials we could ask for, except for the food we brought in ( of course ). The indoor pool was enjoyed and very appreciated. We stayed September 26 thru 29......right during the rains of hurricane Helene. Thankfully, we were safe and sound. Even through all the rains and cloudiness we were able to enjoy the views from the balcony, especially the beautiful rainbow that showed on our last day. We were also able to see a total of 5 bears! Very cool! The host was very attentive in sending emails and all the info we needed right before our visit. We did not need to contact him during our stay, but I'm sure he would have responded if needed. All four of us had a great time.

We loved this condo. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We enjoyed the view from the balcony and loved the rustic decor. The road to get to the condo is a little crazy but the views make up for it in the morning!

Perfect Weekend!

We loved this cute condo! It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We enjoyed the view from the balcony and loved the rustic decor. It is close to Ober Gatlinburg wnere we took the tram to Downtown Gatlinburg to enjoy breakfast and the Sky Park. We even saw bears on two separate occasions! I would definitely recommend a stay here!

Beautiful Mountain View!

I was in a bind and needed to find a new place to stay fast. I found this listing and within minutes of booking, Max responded back with all of the information I needed. The drive up the mountain was amazing- we saw many baby bears! Clean property, great views and very responsive owner!

Enjoyed our stay overall

We enjoyed our stay here. The view from the balcony was amazing! My only critique of this property was the towel situation. We had a total of 3 towels for five people which was frustrating. There were also no beach towels provided which I found to be odd since there is a pool onsite.

Spring break in the Great Smoky Mountains

Clean property with great view. Older bathrooms with toilets that can clog easily. Of note- make sure you bring Keurig cups if you need coffee in the morning. There is no coffee maker and no Keurig cups were provided. There is no grocery store in Gaitlinberg where you can run in and buy some. Seems trivial but hard when you are the kind of person who needs coffee to wake up. I would recommend the owner obtains a reusable Keurig cup for use.

Great last minute trip

We decided to come to Tennessee from Ohio for spring break. It was very last minute, we booked the day before check-in. Everything with booking was fast and easy. Loved punching in the door code and being 'home'. Condo was nice, clean and just as described online. Three of us stayed and it was perfect. Roomy for us all, and having a second bathroom is always great. Views were wonderful.... day and night. It's a doozie coming up the hills to the actual property, but worth it. My only complaints were that the towels were clean, but not fresh. They had a musty rancid smell to them as soon as any got wet. Second complaint is more for the complex itself, not the condo. The wooded area under the balcony's was filthy. Lots of garbage and trash. Not a good look, and definitely an eye sore when you're trying to look for bears and whatnot. Other than that we had a great stay. Would stay again, and recommend to friends.

Short getaway

Property as shown on vrbo, beautiful area. Could use more attention to making sure supplies are stocked and there are toiletries, at least soap, available in bathrooms. When you are traveling with family for a short trip, you dont want to have to worry about requesting extra supplies.

Thanksgiving Fun!

The property was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The location was central to eating establishments and shops. The heated pool and hot tub were under construction so maybe we can use that next time.

Bear Country

Wife, husband and three kids all traveled and stayed her for our trip to Gatlinburg during the middle of July 2022. Loved the location on top of a mountain. All the roads were paved getting there so there wasn't much of a concern accessing the condo complex. The porch was very nice which we were able to see the nightly fireworks and drone light show at Dollywood. We also were able to see lot of fireflies each night in the woods below. As for black bears, our family counted 15 total bears, most of which were either seen in or around the complex or on local streets leading down from the mountain. What a cool experience and the bears made it even cooler. The condo seemed very secure which allowed us to sleep soundly knowing the kids were safe at night. Overall a great place to stay and a great location with lots of wildlife!
