Swampy Floors

The location of this property was its saving grace. The shampoo, body wash, and conditioner in the upstairs bathroom was empty upon checkin, and the downstairs bathroom’s were 1/4 of the way full. We asked for them to be filled as we had 7 people staying and were told that was not included in our stay. There was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms. The downstairs bathroom shower has a huge crack in the tub which lets all the water leak into the downstairs hallway and bedroom. It was a literal swamp. We used all the towels on the floor just to be able to walk during our stay. The water has soaked into the area rug under the bed and you have to step on the soaking wet rug to get into or out of the bed. The maintenance team came out, put another layer of plaster on the crack, and said it was being replaced next week anyway. Funny how previous reviews mentioning this same issue were replied to saying it had been taken care of. Sticking a bandaid on a leak and continuing to charge thousands of dollars in the meantime is NOT a fix. Would not stay here again which is a shame because the location is great.

We have some things that we would like to talk more about regarding our recent stay. The size/layout and location of the Condo was perfect and comfortable for our larger family. We feel the price was fair for what was advertised. The frustrating part for us was that there was nothing specially stating we could not use the boat docks. The docks were pictured in your listings with no gates or statements about restrictions of use. We only found out about this within 7 days of our arrival date. That was a big part of us picking your property. According to the check in information we were provided this went into affect May 1st. I feel it was wrong to not be notified of this before our second installment was due on June 17th.Another thing for our 5 night stay we were unable to use the second bath which again caused a good amount of inconvenience due to the fact we have a larger family with two small children who would typically need a bath tub. It was clear there was a previous issue of the same manner and reviews that stated they experienced this as well. The repair didn't look to be very professional and clearly didn't hold. The amount of paper products/toilet paper/garbage bags/towels/cleaning supplies was not nearly enough for the amount of guests. Even with laundry machines onsite it was hard to keep up with clean wash clothes/towels. This was the exact message sent to our provide “direct” contact number. There were no attempts to resolve any of these issues.

The only complaints we have was. the floor was filthy walking barefooted or with socks on it will be completely black after pacing around the unit.The showers had clumps of hair left in the drain and hairs all over the sink and bathroom floors.

Great rental!

This place is great for our family get together. We had plenty of room, nice location, beautiful house! The only thing I had a problem with was cleanliness of the beds. Pulled the sheets back and there was hair and food in the bed! Contacted management and they did send someone out to change. This was great for my family!

Overall, great find!

Fantastic location very responsive customer service. (The island lost power at 1:30 am and the property manager responded to our texts immediately.) However, the unit could be better stocked. You’ll want to bring your own basics: paper towels, toilet paper, aluminum foil, beach towels, detergent, coffee filters, etc.
