Excellent Weekend

We stayed two nights for our 25th anniversary and it was an amazing experience. The staff delivered Champagne, chocolates and flowers to our room just after arrival. What a great surprise. The room was huge, clean, and had a beautiful view of the city.

We had a great time at this Marriott! Valet was easy and more affordable than other hotels around. Saw a concert at Dos Equis and uber was convenient. Bar W is close and cool and Poco Fiasco pizza are good, both walking distance. Pool was very nice in the mornings and evenings! We would visit again!

Avoid at all costs if you value quiet and peaceful rest in a hotel room. The room’s wall and doors lack proper soundproofing. You will hear a lot of noise at night from people walking around the hotel corridor, slamming their doors, elevator doors, elevator shaft noise, and even noise from the cars and people outside. During my two nights there were party people and kids running inside an inside an hotel and knocking on doors around from 10 pm to 3 am. During my two nights they were party people and kids running around from 10 pm to 3 am. I called front desk and they didn’t do a thing. Avoid every value peaceful quiet hotel and you need to rest.

My husband and I were in town to visit our college son. First time we have stayed at the Marriott Uptown. Loved the location, close to shopping, fabulous restaurants and felt so safe! The bar was fun and lively with plenty of space to lounge and enjoy an evening cocktail before dinner. We will absolutely be back again the next time we visit our son!
