We really enjoyed our visit at the guest house at the 30 acre Horse Ranch. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our grandchildren were able to pet and feed the horses which they absolutely loved. Susan was so gracious and kind. She took us on a tour of the farm on the golf cart. We were able to go down one of the walking trails to the river. She also showed us the other two properties which were just beautiful. Our grandchildren didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at Hinckley was idilic. The location of the property is in a picturesque neighbourhood, with beautiful surroundings. The house was well appointed and suited us very well. Susan, Mark and Mike were perfect hosts, always there if we needed them, super friendly but left us to our own devices. We couldn’t wish for a better stay and hope to come back soon. Thanks so much for having us stay, we had a blast! X

We had a very relaxing week on the farm. Mark and Susan are great and made sure we had everything we needed. We met some lovely new people hanging out at the pool, sat around the fire pit and made smores, enjoyed watching the horses and being greeted every morning by the sweet barn cats. Peaceful, beautiful property and a charming little cottage.

Tranquill Setting in Hinckley OH

Very lovely rental in a pastoral setting. The home was immaculate and well appointed. The kitchen was well supplied with everything you might need to cook in, including spices and coffee, etc. We enjoyed the horses on the property and the barn cats. Nearby Medina square was nice to visit with shops and restaurants. Favorites were Sully's Irish Pub and Timber Lodge. Also, there is a huge antique mall. We had rain so did not get to use the trails or the in ground pool. But it looked very nice, water temp was perfect and floats provided along with lighting for night swimming. There are two other rentals on this property that are equally as lovely. Ours had a western cowboy theme, another is a beautifully updated farmhouse, and there is an updated cabin. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I chose this property for our wedding reception location. We could not have had a better day. The owners were extremely kind and accommodating, despite how chaotic it was for us to plan our wedding from a distance. We had less than 40 guests total and set up outdoors by the pool. The property was beautiful, the horses and barn cats were friendly, and the cost was absolutely within budget for a small wedding. We highly recommend staying here for either a fun getaway OR a beautiful event venue. Big thanks to the owners who made this happen for us!

Perfect Getaway

We had a perfect stay! The home was clean, cozy, and nestled in a beautiful location. What truly made it special was the host—so kind and welcoming. My kids and I got to help feed the horses and explore the property, which was such a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back! This would also be an amazing spot to rent with friends, as there are three rentals on the property. Highly recommend!

Nice Place, Nice People

Wonderful place! The people running it are kind, friendly, and helpful. The house is very nice and very comfortable. The grounds are excellent, fields, woods, a river, trails, and horses that love carrots. And the area has lots of charm as well as natural areas with a very nice Metro Park about a mile away (Whipps Ledges!) We would go back in a heartbeat.

Peaceful Place to Unplug

The house had everything we needed for a family of 4. The property itself was big and the kids spent a lot of time outside which is everyone’s preference. Although rain tried to interfere everyday, we made the most of it. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The kids loved the roaming barn cats and being able to interact with the ponies and horses. There were trails at the back of the property I would have liked to explore more but the rain prevented that. We’d love to come back. This is 1 house of 3 rentals on the property and would make it a great place for a multi family trip.

Great getaway for outdoors and urban adventure

The property was beautiful and easy to find with the accommodations being exactly what we were looking for in a quick getaway. We happened to meet the hosts the first day and everyone loved getting to meet the horses (what a treat). The lodging was perfect and well stocked. Location was great for us, close to trails, some shopping, and a quick drive to spend the day in Cleveland too. Would definitely go back and stay again!
