Safe Dtown Park VIEWS| Mich Ave, Museums 2bd/2ba
Feel at Home, Unwind, and Enjoy the amenities you deserve next to Grant Park!
Most homes don’t provide professional service along with “local vibes.” Guests love staying with us because:
✅ Beautiful views of Chicago ✅ Central Location ✅ Parking garage attached to the building ($15-30 / night - Operated by LAZ) ✅ FAST WIFI ✅ Comfy KING beds ✅ Shared Rooftop Deck w Grills ✅ 1 block from the Red, Orange, Green L subway stops ✅ Close proximity to Grant Park, Soldier Field, Museums & more! If you are looking for a special place, you've found it!
(Pssst... Quick favor if you're thinking about booking: Please read the entire listing as it likely answers any questions you may have. Thanks!)
Our home is located in a bigger (hence, safe) building with 24/7 Security & Front door people near Downtown and South Loop. Once you get your key/fob using our simple check-in guide, you walk into the lobby. With key/fob, you may go up to your floor.
Once you take the elevator up, you take a left out of the elevator and walk all the way down to the corner unit.
Open the door and you are welcome to beautiful views of Chicago. The home opens up to a kitchen on the right and the living room straight ahead. To the left is bedroom and bathroom one. If you walk further one, you'll see bedroom and bathroom two.
There are also great amenities so make sure to keep your fob with you at all times! There is a rooftop deck, business center, and a lounge for your enjoyment. You may also use the laundry facilities for $2 per wash and $2 per dry. Lastly, there is a gym attached to the building, which you may purchase passes during your stay.
There is a NOISE MONITORING system within the home to track decibel noise level. Please respect our neighbors and do not get too loud outside quiet hours :)
FAQs Q: Is the neighborhood safe? A: Very much so. 24 hours a day.
Q: PARKING? A: The home is very easy to get to via public transit. There is public parking connected to the building, operated by LAZ. It is $15-30 / night. SPOTANGELS is your best bet to find FREE parking. Before you park please check all available signs as they may have changed and make sure there are no parking restrictions. Please use SPOTHERO for other parking options.
Q: Do I need to bring towels, a hair dryer, or linens? A: Nope! we provide all these things. We also provide you with a starter pack of toilet papers.
Q: When can I check in or check out? A: Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Early check ins can be difficult if there are guests who checked out same day. We ask for an early check-in, or a late-check out fee, if you request either.
Q: Luggage Drop-Off / Storage? A: If you do not have flights that coincide with our check-in and checkout times, you may use RadicalStorage to store your bags for your optimal time :)
Q: Can I come and go as I please? A: Yes. And we wouldn't trust any listing with which this isn't the case.
Q: Is the place professionally cleaned between guests? A: Yes, and we take pride in providing a clean home for guests.
Q: What's my total booking price? A: We honestly have no idea. With fees included, it only shows the guest how much they pay. This figure should be present after you enter your dates. Note that, pricing varies on a daily basis, and it actually uses some crazy algorithm to adjust it automatically, so I don't actually control this.
Q: Are the beds comfortable? A: Very. Some guests say they're the best they've ever slept on!
You have full access to the home, and building amenities with your key fob. Please always keep it on hand!
We are here to help, but give you space to enjoy :)
The South Loop is such a dynamic mix of attractions and histories that the neighborhood tends to be seen as many different things to many different people. Consider the assorted areas that comprise the South Loop:
Much of its eastern edge is encompassed by the Museum Campus, an impressive collection of cultural treasures that includes the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium and Shedd Aquarium. This campus sits on scenic lakefront parklands that are an extension of Grant Park. With 319 acres of green space and recreational fields, Grant Park is known as "Chicago's front yard" to locals and also plays host to major city events such as Taste of Chicago, Chicago Blues Festival and Lollapalooza.
Jutting out further into Lake Michigan is Northerly Island, a peninsula sought out by nature lovers, while along the southern edge the sports fans know Soldier Field as the stadium for the beloved Chicago Bears football team. Meeting attendees are most familiar with McCormick Place, the largest convention center in the country, which is also in the immediate area.
And yet there are even more facets to the South Loop. History buffs point out the Motor Row District along South Michigan Avenue and nearby Prairie Avenue District, the "Millionaire's Row" that was lined with mansions belonging to Chicago's most wealthy elite during the end of the 19th century.
In the adjacent Printer's Row neighborhood, urban loft condos now fill the commercial spaces in what was formerly the center of the Midwest's publishing industry. Connections to this past are still seen within the venerable, independent book store and annual summer lit fest here. But business professionals and students have brought new life and redevelopment (though the vibe remains mellow), filling the restaurants, music clubs, smaller theaters and museums that have all established themselves in the community.
You are only a 1 block away from the minute walk from Green, Red, and Orange "L" subway stop, which gets you virtually everywhere in the City. You are also a short walk to a number of restaurants and attractions

Great location!
The property is clean, quiet, and comfortable, with great views of Lake Michigan! We didn’t use the kitchen for lunch or dinner, but it was nice to have for breakfast, and the provided coffee was a pleasant bonus! The location is an easy walk to the museum campus and the Willis Tower. If we were going any further, Ubers were plentiful. One night we walked to AO Hawaiian Hideout, which was a fun Asian restaurant nearby, check it out if you stay here!

Great location and views
We stayed for a week for spring break. Very easy walking access to Field museum and Shedd Aquarium. The views are amazing. Some tips:1) There is a parking garage connected to the building (you do not have to go outside to access the building from the parking garage once you have your key fob). The garage is operated by LAZ Parking (download the app). Be aware- you cannot buy a pass for the whole week unless you are not planning on leaving the garage- there is a "single in and out policy". I bought a pass for the whole week and it was only valid for less than 24 hrs because I left the garage the next day and couldn't reenter- they did not give me a partial refund.2) You need to hold the key fob on the entry points for about 4 seconds for it to work.3) As of our stay, they did not have pans for the oven...so bring some foil if you want to reheat items in the oven.4) The shower tubs get super slippery when wet, two of our family members fell- so be careful when stepping in!Overall, we had a great stay. Our son is in a wheelchair and everything was very accessible!

Absolutely beautiful view and location
I’m originally from Chicago. I knew the area was nice, but we were genuinely blown away how beautiful the view is from this property. We found ourselves standing in front of the windows, looking outwards for long periods of time. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay!
Brought my daughter and her boyfriend to Chicago for a few days to celebrate graduating HS. Unit is well located, nicely decorated, and above all, CLEAN! Beds were comfy (even the sofa bed) and all linens and towels were provided.
Getting there from Midway airport was a single train on the CTA Orange Line and a short walk from Roosevelt Station.
Would definitely stay here again - our only regret was that our trip was so short!

Great location!
Communication with host and easy. The location of the condo is great! Near solder field, the “el”, field museum, the lake. Great views of navy pier and the lake. The building is starting to show its age but the security and the doorman help make up for that. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot
Perfect location, especially with a younger child to be able to walk to all the museums. Beautiful view. Surprisingly quiet apartment. Streets are a bit loud if you go to sleep early, which is expected, but if you turn on the a/c it helps drown it out until it quiets down a bit later. Super close to all trains which was ideal for us. We walked down the strip and also to chinatown and it was a beautiful. Apartment people were super friendly. Conveniently close to trader joes across the street if you dont want to eat out all the time like us. Highly recommend this place.

Never again
Host is not helpful AT ALL! Asked for a contact number in case of emergency, refused to give it. Instead said to msg thru vrbo. In emergency a chat option thru messenger is not helpful!
The furniture is old and worn out, felt like back in a college dorm.
The front desk people are of zero help.
There is only 1 key so if you are there with a group it’s hard to strike out on your own or if you do you have to coordinate with the entire party otherwise you may be locked out.
Location was great. Walking distance to several museums and parks.
Parking was ok, the parking garage was always full but there is another one at SKY55 two blocks away.
Cleanliness was so-so. Carpets has several large stains. Some stains on the walls. Bath/showers have old rusty hardware. There was hair in one of the beds though the host reports they change sheets between guests.
Overall not great. If you’re going to spend this kind of money go to a hotel where it’s clean, friendly, and available to help you if needed.

Fall Break Chicago Getaway
We were very pleased with this property for our 4-day stay in Chicago. The check-in process was easy as the owners provided us with detailed/step-by-step instructions as to how to enter the secure building, retrieve the keys, and enter the unit. The unit itself was inviting, well stocked and clean. The view is breathtaking from all windows! Communication with the owners during our stay was always prompt and thorough. We had no problems with internet/cable/HVAC or water. The building itself felt safe, was quiet and the elevators were quick. The rooftop lounge/grill area was wonderful with the gas fireplaces on a cool night. We loved the convenience to shopping, restaurants and museums. We walked in the daytime and had short Uber rides at night. Was just a short walk to several grocery and liquor stores for necessities. Would definitely recommend this property for a small group or family and would stay again in the future.

Great Location and View - Old Furniture and Stains
Pros:
The location was awsome and the view of Grant park and the lake was really good. On Sunday night, Navy pier had fireworks and we had a perfect view. There was good documentation on the check in process. We felt safe with the fob security of the building.
Cons:
The apartment was cleaned, but the carpet was old and has significant stains. One of couches is really worn out, you can feel the frame when sitting on it.
The towels were clean, but had stains, one of rooms comforter had a brown sticky stain (they did come and change it), the iron did not work, the ironing board was broken.
We would only stay here again, if they fixed these items.
