Book a hotel near Santa Claus House, North Pole

"Birch Tree was perfect. We were worried that we would be cold because when we landed it was -33 degrees outside. When we walked into the cottage it was warm and cozy. That heater and plenty of hot water saved us in the beginning of the week when it was below zero. It warmed up and we were almost disappointed. Never having experienced below zero temps it was pretty awesome how cold that really is. One day we also were at the breakfast table and saw a moose walk by and then plop itself down in the yard for a couple of hours. We also had the good luck to see the Northern Lights from the comfort of our driveway 3 nights while we were there. It was quite an incredible trip. A lot of items on my bucket list were checked off. "
