How to get through airport security fast when traveling to North Pole

Make your flight to North Pole a little easier by following these clever security tips:

  • Make sure you know the location of your boarding pass and travel ID. You don't want to hold up the queue when you're asked to present them.
  • Wallets, belts and mobile phones are to be placed in a tray for X-raying. If you pass through the body scanner with any of these items, you'll be instructed to turn back and remove them.
  • Ensure your laptop and electronic devices are within reach. These items need to be put through the X-ray machine separately.
  • When it comes to traveling with gels or liquids, each passenger is allowed a quart-sized clear zip-lock bag to keep containers no greater than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
  • Steel-cap boots and other cumbersome shoes are likely to be X-rayed by airport security. It might be wise to wear simple sneakers instead.
  • Razors and knives are prohibited from entering the aircraft. Pack them in your checked luggage to avoid losing them at the security checkpoint.
