The whole place was unique, there is a lot to do. A great place for adults of all ages. The food was great however runny omelets aren't. Awesome atmosphere!! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to see you all again in the summer.

First off let me say I/WE enjoy coming to Chena Hot Springs and we have been coming there for the last 26 years almost on a monthly basis. With that said this past weekend was the 1st time and the absolute worst time i have ever had in the entire time that my wife and I have ever had coming here and makes me wonder how many times I've been screwed by this place without realizing it until now. 1st I made our reservation and it was $151.19 for a 1 night stay but my card was charged $173.87. I noticed it because for some reason I decided to check my balance. I called the resort and was hung up on 4 times before I was told we will have a manager call you shortly. They called and proceeded to argue with me saying they only charged me the right price even though I had them on the phone at the same time I had my credit card company on the phone saying I was being charged a different amount. At this point and time i would have canceled my trip but it was none refundable so we went despite me being pissed. Now we get there and to my suprise I have to give them my card again and now they charge me a deposit fee on top of my reservation fee and you guessed it it was more than they said it was gonna be. Trying to keep my mouth shut I signed the check in paper got our keys and went to our room. We decided to go have a couple drinks and dinner and I'd calm down a little. so we go over and they are really busy so we look at the bar and it's open and you guessed it that's right my next mista

We had previously scheduled a 2 day stay but with the local fires when we arrived the air quality was not good so we cancelled the 2nd day and was told it would not be a problem. When we checked out the next morning we were told they would not refund us our money for the 2nd day

Thank you for staying with us! We're sorry to hear that the staff was not as smiley as they could have been, but glad to hear that you got to see the northern lights!

Resort is in a good location, nice hot spring

Pros: Location
Cons: The room needs renovation and to add fridge and microwave.
Location: Location is nice: trails, hot spring and far enough from the town to see Aurora
Good location. Nice hot spring. But the hotel itself is overpriced. The room is filthy, smelly, outdated. Needs renovation. No fridge, no microwave. Probably better just to visit for a day but to stay in Fairbanks.
