"Our room was clean. Very friendly staff. Accommodating facility. We were in the area off from the main motel, and I enjoyed it. We were traveling with a 13 month old, so thankful for the good sized mini fridge! The clubhouse has pastries in the mornings, a fully stocked water fridge, and Clif Bars and Fig Bars readily available- a Godsend for hiking! We were able to stop before going to Acadia for quick fuel for us and our baby. They even gave our baby a small stuffed lobster that was precious. We were within walking distance of downtown, so no need to fight for parking. "

"Unique historic in with numerous buildings with 100 acre property and sandy beach on property. Ben the owner greeted us and described all the interesting features on the property. He also cooks an outstanding breakfast before to set out to tour all the areas within a short drive. Highly recommended you stay here."

"Lovely place to stay"

"Incredible views, spotlessly clean, comfortable room. I loved being able to walk to the shoreline through the forest. Serene and peaceful. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was enjoying my stay. When I asked for herbal tea but there was none to be had, the hostess went to the market and bought some for me. Another hostess provided a sheet of rainy day activities on a day when the weather was not cooperating. The location to the scenic loop, the charming shops in Winter Harbor, and the lovely places to eat made this a perfect place to stay. It is a simple room, with no tv but it was very comfortable and very clean. Also, be aware that there is no elevator and only steep steps to the upstairs rooms. All in all a wonderful stay."

"The property is ideally located so everything you would need is within walking distance. Very clean and the cider and soup at check-in were outstanding! Recommendations for dinner were spot in from the staff and we would absolutely stay here again in the future! "
