"This was living in Downton Abbey for the night. It is a beautiful inn built in 1929, Our room was huge with beautiful antiques and linens; the bath was spacious and elegant. There were not many guests the night we stayed so breakfast was a modest continental offering, but it was served in a delightful breakfast room overlooking a flowered patio and gorgeous grounds. We had arrived early enough in the evening to enjoy reading in the library for few hours before bed. We would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity."

"We made a reservation through Hotels.com, but upon arrival, we could not stay. We still haven't received a refund to date.lb or restoration of key points used. During the room inspection, we discovered pubic hairs on the bed, indicating someone had been trimming. The bathroom was dirty and poorly cleaned. We spoke with AP Patel, the Night manager of the Choice Hotel, who informed us that they had no cleaning staff and no other rooms available. We have supporting photos. AP Patel provided us with a printed confirmation number for the refund from Choice Hotel and canceled our booking for the one night. When we called Hotels.com, they said they couldn't assist us until morning. I called in the morning. the Hotels.com agent assumed we booked and stayed. I am still waiting for my refund and the restoration of my used Key points. Hotels.com, itinerary number ending in 5220. Choice hotels, cancelation number ending in 2050."

"My main issue with this property was the use or AI generated images to make the property seem nicer than it was. The staff were helpful when needed. But my room wasn’t the best. Didn’t expect much but stuff like my extractor fan didn’t work properly, just made a really loud noise when turned on which was annoying. My TV remote didn’t work either, had the wrong brand remote in the room (don’t know how that could happen). It was a “clean” room but it didn’t feel like it honestly. But you get what you pay for I guess"
