"Excellent service!"
Upon arrival, Iris at the front desk was professional and friendly. She made suggestions and pulled out a map to show how to get where we needed to go. We were much too early to check in but she offered restroom facilities, coffee and free chilled spring water bottles to take with us while seeing the city. The coffee machine made lattes, cappucino, etc. and was always available. The onsite restaurant/bar had equally friendly staff. I have no complaints and appreciate that everyone of the staff that we came in contact with was so very friendly.

"Good value for nice hotel in financial district"
We had a quiet room on the "courtyard" side -- a good size relative to other New York hotels (we've stayed in hotels where you could barely turn around). Not a room with a view and the staff was apologetic and told us they could move us after the first night but we were happy with the room we had. Furnishings were modern and comfortable. My only complaint was that the bathroom didn't have enough toilet paper and there was only one hand towel and one washcloth when they knew there would be two of us. I went down to the lobby to get extras of these and was told they'd send someone up to the room with the towels and TP. But my husband was sleeping, and since I didn't want a knock on the door to disturb him, I declined and we did without them.

Had an excellent stay! Room was very clean. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast was ok, they could add some more items to the menu. Did not use the fitness facilities, the gym room seemed very small and only a few machines.
