"SMELLY ROOM- couldn’t even sleep due to the smell. Cheap AC turned on and off every 5 seconds, and AC was so low that room was stuffy. Guests have no control over the temperature, prob set around 75. Very good selection breakfast, staff worked super slow during checking in, not sure reason why."

Not the most hospitable place on the earth. We travel quite a bit we see no reason to return to Venice. Overall the food was average at hotel and elsewhere. The bar at hotel was quite pricey also. But it was air conditioned. You can have cocktails within walking distance for half the price. We liked the location because it was out of the busier sections of Venice. That said it was a 30 minute walk to San Marco square. We love to walk so it was good for us. The air conditioning in the room was excellent."
