Great hotel, right in the heart of Venice

Staff was exceptional and very nice, great location. Hotel was in classic Venetian style and had padded fabric walls! Location was excellent!!

over rated and over priced, absolutely disgusting

Pros: walking out the door as I left.
Cons: better rooms, better amenities, better staff.
Location: venice itself was amazing. spectacular overall vacation. only the room failed to live up to our expectations. I will never, ever stay here again
The staff was extremely rude. their attitude, matched, by the room itself. an over-price closet, WITHOUT WINDOWS, no fridge, no amenities, no view. and I paid top dollar!!! what absolute rip-off!!! I am urging everyone to avoid this place like the plague!!!

Not worth the money.

Pros: Decent location.
Not what I expected for the price. The room was just ok. The shower was teeny tiny.

Great location, no complaints

My wife and I stayed here one night while traveling Italy. (We wish we had stayed longer -- Venice is wonderful!) No real complaints about this hotel. The room was on the smaller side, but that's no surprise for the location & price. Perfectly located on the Grand Canal, and the desk service was very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend.

Nice Hotel Near the Rialto Bridge

Pros: Key benefits of the hotel included: - The location - The size of the room (very large compared to some other hotels in Venice) - Friendly staff
Cons: Having a room with a view of the Grand Canal can be fairly loud.
Location: The Rialto Bridge and a number of cathedrals are all very close. The St. Mark's Square is about 10 minutes away.
Overall, the Rialto hotel was a very good place to stay. The location was very good as it was only steps away from the Rialto bridge. This can be very helpful since it is easy to get lost in Venice and there are many signs indicating how to get to the Rialto bridge. There are also a number of close boat stops that provide access to the hotel. We arrived early after finishing a cruise and the hotel staff was very good about getting a room for us as quickly as possible. The staff was also very helpful with giving dinner recommendations and answering questions that we had.

Excellent Venice location

Pros: The location, right on the Grand Canal.
Cons: Request accessible room if you have mobility issues.
Location: All of Venice is just outside the door. Taxis and water buses are right in front of hotel, it's easy to roll luggage aboard the bus for departure.
Location is away from the crowds and noise of Piazza San Marco yet easily accessible. It is adjacent to the famous Rialto Bridge so it always seems there is a sign indicating the way back to the hotel. The property is old but modernized. One of our rooms had windows looking directly toward the next building, light was so limited we could not tell daylight from dark. The other room had exposure to a small piazza with crowds of people passing during the day, we did have sunlight there. We were treated to views of a full moon rising from that room. We had requested rooms with views, I guess it's not that kind of property. The elevator only goes to the second floor, it took two flights of steep stairs to access our floor. Decorations are classic with modern fixtures. Buffet breakfast was very nice, prosecco is offered. WiFi works.

Great hotel right across from the Rialto Bridge

Location: Rialto Bridge, gondola, water taxi, St. Mark's, Hard Rock Venice
This hotel was amazing. You can walk there from the train station - about 20 minutes walking. Out of the train station turn left and just keep walking until you see the Rialto Bridge. The hotel staff were helpful and very friendly. I requested a room overlooking the bridge. Very clean. I would stay again.

Excellent Location

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, location
Rooms were clean and recently renovated. This hotel is in an excellent location of Venice. Staff is polite and efficient. Breakfast is generally included with the room charge and is excellent. Make sure you don't miss it ans you may have to pay 10-15 Euros per person at an outside cafe for a bad breakfast. First and second floors can get a bit noisy from the street, but it I believe it made me feel right in the heart of Italy.

Old and outdated

Pros: Quiet
Cons: Poor breakfast
Room was old and located in an alley. Requested and paid for view of Canal, received a room with no window. Big disappointment.
