B&B HOTEL Venezia Laguna
"The hotel is beautiful, very modern and clean. It’s on the outskirts of Venice so requires a fair bit of walking but it is accessible via car from the airport. We chose it because our flight landed late and we didn’t want to navigate to our hotel late at night with a large suitcase via boat. It is about 25minute walk before you get into the picturesque parts of Venice and around 50 minutes walk to st Marc sq, this does mean you see lots of the city en route though. There is public transport (boat) a short 5 minute walk away but we found that expensive €9.60 pp to get to st Marc’s one way, which for a family of 6 was too much and we only took this once. The rooms were spotless and clean , the restaurant was large, food was lovely, we liked how modern and nicely decorated it was. We weren’t happy with the luggage storage as we had to pay. In total we paid €56 during our stay to store luggage which I wasn’t aware of at the time of booking and would have considered this in the total cost had I known. Overall the hotel worked well for us and I would recommend if you factor in the extra costs and the walking."
