Great hotel in a quiet and lovely spot in the upper or northern part of Venice. Lovely canal in front of hotel with water bus access to the tourist district. The bus does get crowded and uncomfortable but walking is an option. Hotel is comfortable and daily housekeeping is a plus. Elevators are fast. Room included a safe and refrigerator. Room included 3 beds with 2 rooms.

This hotel was excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and updated. Great breakfast, and very nice Hotel staff. Any questions asked of them through hotels.com were answered almost immediately. The location is great. There’s a water taxi stop almost in front of the hotel. It is not right in the center of things so it’s a little quieter at night and the surrounding restaurants are very reasonable. It’s only about a half hour or so walk to Saint Mark’s Square and you are very close to the Jewish ghetto. Would definitely return. If you’re traveling with a family of four, this hotel can accommodate all of you in a suite. It’s very roomy and comfortable. And very good air conditioning.

I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but I wanted to say this was a great hotel choice. The staff was very friendly. Great breakfast included. Spacious and well-maintained rooms. We are a family of four with 2 seven year olds and we were pleased with our stay. It's also a short walk to the train station, so you don't need a water taxi or to take the vaporetto.

We spent two nights here before getting on a cruise. What a great start to our trip. Since this was our first visit to Venice we weren't sure what area to stay in and ended up very happy with our choice. This is not in the most touristy areas which we appreciated but easy walk to so many good restaurants and shopping. The room was comfortable clean. The service was outstanding everywhere! Easy recommendation!

Great Place

We loved Carnival Palace Hotel in Venice. Clean, comfortable room, great breakfast and great service. A little far away from major sites but there were three water taxi stations close by.
