"Elegant old-world hotel"
Loved the Giorgione. Staff is warm and always helpful. Rooms are old-world, great beds and quiet. Tea, coffee service and international newspapers all day in lobby. Wonderful, elegant breakfast. We walked everywhere, we were so well located. Supermarket, coffee, restaurants, shops all around us too.

"Decent Hotel Close to San Marco Square"
Hotel has old world charm, but there are (at least) two buildings, of which I was not informed when I made the reservation for me and my 18 year-old daughter. The building where we were housed was across the way from the main hotel, a little out of the way for two women travelers. Beds (i.e., mattresses) could have been a bit more comfortable. We did have a small balcony onto a canal.

"Nice hotel close to San Mark square "
It's a little hard to find, and the person who answered the phone don't speak English, to give you directions. After we managed to get to the plaza we call back and they sent someone to get us from there. It's hidden between little streets. For better reference is right on the Scala contarini Del Bovolo.

"Great location in San Marco - newly renovated room"
This hotel is right on the main designer shopping street directly across from Burberry. However despite its location, it is not loud at night - even with the little pub downstairs. The rooms are pretty well sound proofed from the street noise. My room was on the second floor facing the front so the potential for interrupted sleep was definitely there. The rooms are lovely with a very chic decor and wooden beams add a nice touch of coziness. I stayed here with my family of 4 - 2 teen children included - and the hotel was very accommodating to help us fit into the 2 room suite with the 2 bathrooms. It did included leveraging a pull out couch and a cot - but my kids were so excited to have their own space and bathroom. The front desk staff was very professional and offered help at each question. They were very well organized and it was impressive that they knew every member of my family as we came in. We never needed to say our name or room number to pick up our room key. The service is personalized which makes one feel very special. The only negative feedback on this hotel and the reason why I did not give it a total 5 is because I found the beds and pillows quite uncomfortable. One pillow is rock hard and the other is so soft is may as well be filled with air. The beds are really hard too and I found myself with restless sleep for the nights I was there. My husband had the same issues so I know it was not just me.

The Hotel was very nice, very friendly staff. A little off the beaten path but convenient to vaporetto stops and in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. The breakfast was very good also, especially the complimentary cappuccino!
