The room was spacious and clean. But the bathroom was narrow and small. Decor of the room… wasn’t really my taste. I wish there was something to tie the curtain to open. Lastly, it was very awkward to the staff right infront of our front door, literally 2 feet away from our front door. It would have been better if the staff were downstairs. Not sure why the set was that way. They have the space downstairs. Overall, it was ok.

Room was clean and central location. Terrible staff however. They were quite rude and overcharged us our property taxes. More than 4x what was listed on the booking confirmation and just started yelling and screaming loudly in Italian. Suggest to avoid or be prepared to pay whatever tax they make up on the spot.

The room was fine. The room was a little hot, but we are used to having the air conditioning set low. It would only go so low. The really only issue we had was at check in. We got there after the staff’s hours and had no way to get into our room. We also did not have cell service. Thank goodness for strangers. Two young men called the hotel and spoke with the staff, as her English was not good and our Italian was even worse. She had put the keys in a safe that was behind a closed door. Once we found it and used the code she gave us, then our stay was good. We will never travel out of the country again without having cell service. We don’t require daily room service, so we never used it during our stay, so I can’t comment on it. It was located in a convenient place. It’s Venice, so you will get lost at some point or another.

Convenient location near St. Marks square. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful navigating ferry transportation and times as well as navigating the area and sightseeing. Room was clean but a little dated looking. Walls were a bit thin as we could hear people walking and talking through the night. We chose this place as a good place to just rest our heads for the night as it was a quick stop before continuing our travels. Overall good stay.
