In the room while in the bath the shower gel holder fell on my head. It broke apart covered me and the bathroom in gel. It hurt but did not break the skin gave me a good headache though. I would suggest to not have them placed above a persons head. I had not used the gel and perhaps it had been tampered with by the previous guest but something to be aware of. Rooms were clean and comfortable although the lighting outside walking to our room was not very sufficient. Employee at the front desk was cold but efficient and presented herself well.

The room is clean but the carpet is a bit old. The kitchenette is a bit too cramped with the 2 queen size beds, but the price is reasonable. Really appreciate the little touches and humor with the rubber duck and the fun messages around the room. The location is convenient to the heart of Richmond.
