We walked into the room and were greeted by two different types of flies inhabiting the room. The bathroom ceiling was clearly badly damaged due to water and falling down.

We always stay here when visiting Rome

We arrived in the middle of a blizzard. We had no problems getting into the hotel parking lot or our room. The staff did everything they could to make us comfortable. We love having the Denny’s attached and open 24 hours. We always recommend this motel to our friends.

hotel was so disgusting I don't think they have any cleaning personnel the refrigerator had mold growing in it the microwave was horrible there was a dirty sheet stuffed behind the refrigerator there was someone's dirty socks under the chair and cigarette butts on the floor

Rooms clean and spacious

Central location in Rome New York made it easy to get to things. Loved having the 24 hour Denny's attached !

Clean and Comfortable

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
It was a great deal for the price. The room was spacious and very clean, the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again

Horrible Hotel RUDE manager. NEVER AGAIN!

The room was not spotless, but adequate for the price. We spent the evening at a local casino and stayed out late and decided to sleep in the next morning. When the front desk called at 11am to see if we wanted to check out we asked for the day rate to keep the room until 4pm. The charge was $* which we agreed to. We no more than got back to sleep when the maid knocked and woke us up and was very rude insisting that we had to check out. By the time I explained to her that we planned to keep the room at the day rate I was fully awake and angry. We decided to leave. I needed to iron my clothing and so unfolded the ironing board and plugged the iron in. The iron did not heat up so I ran my hand down the cord and got a little zap. I unplugged it and called the front desk and asked for a replacement. The young girl at the front desk said that housekeeping would bring one. I used the new iron without incident, dressed, and went to the lobby to check out. Not only did they insist on charging me the $*, the manager started yelling that I had tricked him with the iron and that I was trying to pull a fast one, that it was not a hotel iron and that I was trying to sue him or something. I was dumbfounded! He was so RUDE and could barely speak english. I will NEVER stay at a Quality Inn again.

Worst hotel experience I have ever had.

I recently stayed at this hotel. I checked into my room, and the smell of smoke was overwhelming. I brought this to the attention of the front desk clerk and asked for another room if possible. She honored my request and was very helpful, however when I returned to the lobby to get my new keys the owner/manager who was standing in the lobby, insisted that none of his rooms smelled like smoke and that we were wrong. I am in the hotel business and I understand that rooms sometimes get smoked in. He then raised his voice at me while poking his finger into my chest. The maintenance man then came out and told me that he was going to beat me up in the parking lot after he punched out of work. As he said this, the manager/owner was laughing. I have never been treated this way at any customer service establishment in my life. I should have pressed charges for assault, but I did not have the time as we had tight plans which were already delayed in the process. The front desk clerk was very apologetic and even yelled at the owner to stop a few times. She was helpful through the whole ordeal, but it must have been a tough situation for her to be in seeing that she was confronting her boss. I wanted to leave the hotel immediately, but the owner said that he would charge our card no matter what we do. We had no other options but to take all of our belongings in the care with us for the evening as we did not feel safe leaving our things in the room knowing that the owner of this establishment and the maintenance man had keys to our room. Again, I have never experienced anything like this in my life.

Business Stay

The hotel was under construction while I was there but the rooms were still good. -If you are there more then a week you have to request that your beds be changed and not just made up. -Staff was always friendly -Get your room rate in writing as they will change it and not remember agreeing to the rates -Rooms were nice but for having just been remodeled they did nothing about the tubs with the old grout it was disgusting in the one room but fine in the other. -Location is Great to Rome and also to the Casino area.
