There was a bad smell in the upper and lower hallways. We stayed in room 245. At first we thought it was the ice machine but them it started smelling more like a cat litter box on the lower hallways

Below average hotel in the mountains

This hotel needs to be updated BAD! At some point you were allowed to smoke in your room. It's no smoking now but if you've been around cigarette smoke before you can still smell nicotine in this hotel. You have to flush the toilet several times. It's only two floors but no elevator.

Large complex

Pros: locations and amenities
Cons: nothing
Location: colleges, restaurants, limited shopping, scenic areas
Lots of nice rooms. breakfast area large and breakfast was excellent.

The Hotel Like Home

Pros: The warmth and feel of the hotel.
Cons: The carpet in the lobbies should be replaced. They looked worn out.
Location: The location was only 30 minutes from our sons house. We visited our son in the Valley. We went to the mall to buy dinner at the Café.
As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the front desk attendant. She checked us in and told us about the amenities that were entitled to. As we walked to our room, we felt a sense of home and it was a great feeling. Our room served us well. Unfortunately, we had to leave the next day, but during our next visit to West Virginia, we will make Quality Hotel and Conference Center our temporary home.
