I realize that this is classified as an “economy” motel, so I maybe my expectations were a little too high. I was visiting Tupelo to bring my dog for surgery, and really just needed a place too lay my head down at night and get up the next morning to leave. I definitely did not feel comfortable here and would not return to this location. They allow pets, which is good for people traveling with them, however, it is not good if you have 100 pound German Shepherd in the adjoining room next to you barking all night. There are also train tracks nearby and I was awoken by its loud horn blowing at 4 AM. The rooms are also in desperate need of a makeover and the property as a whole is very old and dated. There some cleanliness & maintenance issues (stains on fabrics, beat up furniture, etc.), but again, I overlooked it for a one night stay. Breakfast is very, very small, and only carbohydrates. All they had was 2 types of cereal, instant oatmeal packets, DIY waffles & toast, bagels, apples, and mini muffins. It would be nice if there had been scrambled eggs or something to go with it. So, in a nutshell, this motel looks way nicer in the photos online than it is in person. The photos were very deceiving and were definitely not an accurate depiction of the motel.

We came here to escape the storm from out of town for 2 nights. Upon arrival the room had an unpleasant odor. That same night I killed a number of bugs, not roaches, unsure what they were. I alerted the desk and was told they were full and couldn't move us, but had bug spray. I used the spray second day and we saw more the following night. Also our microwave didn't work and the heater blew air when it wanted and heat when it wanted. I usually don't stay at motels, but it fit my budget at the time. With this stay I was reminded of the saying...Staff was very cordial

The room was very clean, staff was very nice. The dryer isn’t very efficient, if you do plan to do laundry. Be mindful of the noise level, around 8AM someone was passing our room back and forth with a very loud cart. Otherwise, bang for the buck!

We had to change rooms due to the first one smelling like smoke. The toilet tissue on the holder was very low and there wasn’t another roll in the whole room so my husband had to go to the front to get some more. The shower gel was empty so I wasn’t able to take a shower. My husband also had to get a cup of shower gel for him to be able to take a shower. I will not skimp on price for a hotel again.
