My tip my middle age friends like me it’s no elevator and I can’t how many times I went up the stairs. Only 5 min walk to the wharf "

"The West Beach Inn is right on the main road fronting Santa Barbara harbor and beach. It is conveniently walkable to the main part of downtown Santa Barbara and the pier, where the shops and restaurants are located. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and neat, and the property was well maintained. Best of all, the room rates were lower than some of the more expensive hotels located closer to the pier and downtown area."
