Book a hotel near Strand Theater, Schroon Lake

"We have been coming to Schroon Lake every year for over 40 years. This was our first stay at the Maple Leaf Motel. We only stayed one night, but the accommodations were perfect for our stay. Upon arrival, we used a code to get into the motel. The room was stocked with water and snacks, which we really appreciated. The room was clean and the two queen sized beds were comfortable. Although the motel is located off the main road, we were not disturbed by traffic, and the temperature in the room was comfortable. Our room had a microwave and small refrigerator, but my daughter also had a room next to ours and it had a full kitchen area, so some rooms are different than others. The location was conveniently located just outside of the main town area, just north of the marina. "

"When I checked in, the front desk helped me resolve an issue with my reservation made through Expedia. However, I was told over the phone before my arrival that breakfast was included, but it turned out breakfast is only served on weekends. Due to this discrepancy, I cannot give a 5-star rating."

"The home was beautiful and nicer than pictures described. Plenty of space with large kitchen and all of the amenities you would need for cooking at home. We did not want for anything and would definitely rent again. Thanks for making our stay great and memorable. We skiid all 3 days that we were there. Also, the people they used to plow and shovel were spot on :)"
